My WWE 2K18 Results: TNA Impact Wrestling (Sep.W3.16)

TNA Impact Wrestling
on WWE 2K18
Thursday, September, Week 3, 2016
Orlando, FL

Last week on TNA Impact Wrestling, Eddie Edwards's and Trevor Lee's match broke down into a brawl before it even started. Tonight they have been scheduled to team up for a tag team bout against Mark Andrews and Braxton Sutter. Can the TNA World Heavyweight Champion and the former champ be able to co-exist?

Match #1
Tag Team Match
Kenneth Cameron & Eli Drake vs Joseph Park & Tyrus
Result: Double Count Out

Eli Drake accosts Cameron for allowing the match to result in a double count out and refuses to let this stand. Drake has already requested a rematch against Joseph and Tyrus next week on Impact much to the chagrin of both Eli and Cameron who want to tear each other apart and walk off with the TNA Global Television Championship.

Middle Card Promo
Davey Richards comes out to the ring and talks about his victory over the famous veteran Al Snow last week. That win has sent Davey into the top 6 of the TNA rankings and he is out here right now to issue a challenge to the man who stands at #5 and that man just so happens to be “The Cowboy” James Storm. They engage in a promo battle. Any mutual respect is thrown out the window when Storm drops Davey with a vicious low blow.

The following contest is a “Race For Glory” match were a series of multi-women matches will take place every week on TNA Impact Wrestling on the way to Bound For Glory. Last week, four women competed in a Fatal Four-Way match that saw Sienna eliminate her former Lady Squad colleague, Allie. As a result, Allie was eliminated in the Race For Glory and the remaining women will compete tonight ina Triple Threat Match. Who will be eliminated next in the Race For Glory? Whichever woman survives the Race For Glory will earn the opportunity to challenge the TNA Knockout's Women's Champion Gail Kim at Bound For Glory!

Tonight, McIntyre has made his decision and he will be challenging Lashley at Bound For Glory. A promo battle then ensues that ends with Drew getting the better of Lashley on the mic.

Match #4
Main Event
Tag Team Match
Trevor Lee & Eddie Edwards vs Mark Andrews & Braxton Sutter
Pre-Match: Edwards starts the match when he is immediately blind-tagged in by Lee as signs of combustion already begin to appear.
Mid-Match: Edwards tags himself back in as a form of retaliation but is immediately decked by Lee who walks off and leaves Eddie to fend for himself against two other competitors.
Winners: Mark Andrews & Braxton Sutter (Shooting Star Press from Andrews on Edwards)(**** Amazing)
Post-Match: Trevor Lee comes out to goad and antagonize Edwards who wants nothing more than to fight Lee in the ring.

Show Closer Promo
The TNA Knockout's Champion Gail Kim comes out and says that she wants her name to be synonymous with the TNA Knockout's Championship and she plans on doing this by holding this title for as long as possible and defending it for as long as possible. Not only against any competitor though. Gail wants to defend her title against the very best that is offered to her and the winner of the Race For Glory will certainly be worthy competition for Gail at Bound For Glory. It will make her reign that much better when Kim raises her arm in victory on TNA's biggest event of the year.

Gail Kim is interrupted by Sienna who tells Gail that she's pretty much got the Race For Glory won so she thought she'd come out here and give Gail a reality check. She says that Gail is not going to have a legendary championship reign. As a matter of fact, at Bound For Glory Gail will be losing that TNA Knockouts Championship right back to Sienna. Gail fires back with a ferocious promo and goes on to win the promo battle.
