My WWE 2K18 Results: NJPW (Nov.W4.16)

NJPW
on WWE 2K18
November.Week 4.2016
Niigata, Japan

Last week on NJPW on WWE 2K18: At Wrestle Kingdom 11, the IWGP Heavyweight Champion Kazuchika Okada will face the winner of the 2016 G1 Climax Hiroshi Tanahashi in the main event for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship.

The former IWGP Heavyweight Champion Kenny Omega refuses to be left out of the title picture at Wrestle Kingdom because he's never received his championship rematch and he's been ready for that title rematch for a while now. Omega challenges Okada and Tanahashi to make their title match at Wrestle Kingdom 11 a Triple Threat. Kenny doesn't care about tradition and how New Japan doesn't really ever book three-ways but Kenny doesn't care. He's here to break the mold and break tradition.

Okada is not too keen on a Triple Threat Wrestle Kingdom main event but acknowledges Kenny's gripe. He spoke to NJPW management backstage right before he came out here and they have an offer for Omega. Usually in these instances, they put the G1 Climax contract on the line but for this occasion they are going to book Hiroshi Tanahashi in a match against Kenny Omega. If Omega wins then he gets added to the main event IWGP Heavyweight Championship match at Wrestle Kingdom 11. If Omega loses then he will face Okada in a championship match in February. That match will take place right here on NJPW on WWE 2K18 in two weeks!
