My WWE 2K14 Championship History: The WWE Championship

1ST NOTE: One of the issues with my title histories over the years is that each game has a different calendar length. For example, my season of WWE 2K18 started in the calendar month of April of 2016. It ends at the conclusion of the first week on July 2017 after the WWE Great Balls of Fire Pay-Per-View. My Universe Mode season of WWE 2K19 begins (At least I'm fairly sure) in May of 2017 thus causing an overlap. As a result, the timeline of dates throughout my title histories can get confusing without this in mind.

2ND NOTE: The canon of earlier title reigns can be called into question with WWE Legends like Yokozuna having a WWE Championship reign circa 2013. One day, as my retro series advances (currently featuring Yukes' Power Move Pro Wrestling), some of these reigns reigns may be overwritten completely.

3RD NOTE: It's weird and all over the place. Make whatever sense you can out of the mess. Like sometimes the number of reigns recognizes a certain Superstar's past reigns and sometimes it doesn't.

4TH NOTE: The histories do go back significantly further (back to 1996's WCW vs nWo World Tour and 1999's WWF SmackDown!) but those are on actual notebooks in a box that need to be unearthed and others are completely lost in time (prompting my retro series to fill out the gaps). Apparently, WWE 2K14 was when I started keeping records digitally.

COMING UP IN THE FOLLOWING INSTALLMENT: My WWE 2K15 Championship History: The WWE Championship. One WWE Superstar holds the title for over three months, another Superstar holds it for over eight months, several Superstars pick up their very first reign and one unfortunate Superstar only holds it for one singular day, Kane '98 style.

ADDENDUM

NOTE: I've had a hunch that the Gregory Helms, Lance Archer and Davey Boy Smith edits in my game save have been either OP or of questionable quality (like Gregory Helms' head color being different than the rest of his body.)

The only other Hurricane Helms edit to my liking on FPW NET is unavailable to me since I don't have the parts craft DLC and the recent Covid19 pandemic has made it difficult to afford some of the recent DLCs. I will gladly pay the price though since I am very keen on supporting this project.

As a result, a newly-downloaded edit of Lance Archer will face the semi-finalist Christopher Daniels and the winner will become the new NWA World Heavyweight Champion. When I finally have all of the DLC necessary Hurricane/Helms will re-enter the fold and immediately receive a shot at the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. I'll also have the ability to fill out some of the roster gaps like downloading a David Finlay. Until then!
