SHOW OPENER PROMO

Braun Strowman talks about his tag match last week where Drew McIntyre pinned Braun's partner, Seth Rollins. “The Monster Among Men” made it clear that Seth was the weak link and that at SummerSlam Strowman is going to snap that link in and leave with the Universal Championship!

TONIGHT ON RAW: Much like Seth Rollins, Finn Bálor has offered to defend the Intercontinental Championship tonight against Sami Zayn ahead of their announced SummerSlam bout but Sami parroted Stephanie McMahon, stating his concern over the integrity of their SummerSlam match. LAST WEEK ON RAW: Big Show once again interrupted a performance by Elias!

MIDDLE CARD PROMO

Elias stands in the center of the ring, spotlight shining on him, ready to grace the WWE Universe with another one of his signature performances. Elias, with his guitar in hand, smirks at the audience, confident in the success of his musical endeavor.

Elias begins to strum his guitar. The lyrics of Elias's song are filled with insults aimed at The Big Show, mocking his size, past defeats, as well as his tendency to interrupt Elias in the past. Big Show marches down the ramp with a determined look on his face.

BIG SHOW: "You just can't resist taking your shots, can you?"

ELIAS: "Well, interrupting my performances has become a tradition for you. I figured I'd save you the trouble and invite you to the show this time."

BIG SHOW: "You know, Elias, I might not have the voice of an angel, but I do know a thing or two about making an entrance. So, how about we give the WWE Universe a real show?"

Big Show signals to the backstage area, and a crew member brings out a massive keyboard. The crowd cheers in anticipation as Big Show takes a seat and starts playing a comically oversized piano, adding a humorous twist to the segment.

Elias, with frustration, watches as Big Show begins to sing his own version of his own entrance theme, roasting Elias in return. The WWE Universe is treated to an unexpected musical showdown between the big man and the cunning rule breaker.

🎵 Well, it's Elias, with a guitar in his hand,

Thinks he's a rockstar, but I just don't understand.

He strums those strings, but they're all out of tune,

I'm the Big Show, and I'll punch him to the moon.

Elias gives his review of the performance by dropping Big Show with a vicious low blow kick that sets off a brawl that Elias gets the Better of!

MIDDLE CARD PROMO

Roman Reigns wants to know why Brock Lesnar refuses to meet with him face-to-face after challenging “The Big Dog” to a match at SummerSlam and considers that “The Beast” may be having second thoughts.

Constable Baron Corbin appears with a message from Brock Lesnar's advocate stating that Brock will go through with the match as long as Reigns fulfills a condition of competing in a series of handicap matches to make sure that Roman is strong enough to face “The Beast” as well as in the proper shape physically and mentally.

The no-nonsense RAW GM Kurt Angle then announces that there will be no such series of handicap matches. Roman Reigns WILL face Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam and Baron Corbin will take on Roman Reigns right here tonight!

The constable attempts to blindside Roman Reigns with a cheap shot but “The Big Dog” lands a strike of his own which sparks a fight that Roman gets the better of!

WINNERS: The Deleters of Worlds (Matt Hardy & Bray Wyatt)

In a sit-down interview, Paul Heyman talked about how his client Brock Lesnar is in the worst mood he has ever seen. “The Conqueror” has never felt so insulted after seeing how low RAW management has him ranked. He's disconnected his phone and is refusing to take calls.

Even though Heyman still considers Lesnar his friend, this rift caused by Lesnar's rage has put into jeopardy Heyman's dream of riding into the sunset at Lesnar's side with the Universal and UFC Heavyweight Championships. As for SummerSlam: He's never seen Brock so motivated, Roman “doesn’t stand a chance”.

LAST WEEK ON RAW: The momentum of Sasha Banks and Bayley has appeared to reach runaway-train levels of speed as their winning streak continued with a RAW main event count out victory against The Riott Squad.

BACKSTAGE INTERVIEWS

BRET “HITMAN” HART: “Tonight is a chance to prove once again why I am the excellence of execution. Last week, Sting and I fell short against The Outsiders, but that's in the past. Tonight, my focus is on Goldberg and the WCW United States Championship.

Goldberg, you may be known for your intensity and power, but I've faced and overcome some of the toughest competitors in this business. I know what it takes to be a champion, and I know how to break down even the most dominant opponents.

I've studied your strengths and weaknesses, and I have a game plan. The Outsiders might have had their way last week, but tonight, I'm stepping into that ring alone. It's a one-on-one showdown for the WCW United States Championship, and I plan on leaving with that title around my waist.

Goldberg, you can bring your intensity, your spears, and your jackhammers, but in the end, it's about wrestling skill, experience, and strategy. And in those departments, I am second to none. Tonight, the excellence of execution will prevail, and the WCW United States Championship will find a new home with the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be – Bret 'The Hitman' Hart."

INTERVIEW

SCOTT HALL: “Hey yo, last week, we showed Sting what it's like to step in the ring with The Outsiders. And what happened? Stinger ate another Outsider's Edge, and we walked out of there with our titles still around our waists.

KEVIN NASH: “You know, it's getting kinda sad, ain't it, Scott? Sting, how many times are you gonna keep coming back for more punishment? We're out here offering you another shot at the WCW World Tag Team Titles, and we're even letting you pick your partner. We're generous like that.”

SCOTT HALL: (laughing) “Yeah, we wanna see how many partners it's gonna take for you to finally beat us, Stinger. Maybe you should start a tag team tryout or something, find the right combination to take on The Outsiders. But let's be real, it ain't gonna happen. We're the baddest team in WCW, and no amount of partners is gonna change that.”

INTERVIEW

STING '99: “You know, Hall and Nash can talk all they want, but actions speak louder than words. Last week, things didn't go the way Bret and I planned, but I'm not one to back down from a challenge. The Outsiders want to mock me? They want to see how many partners it takes for me to beat them? Well, challenge accepted!”

But I've got a little surprise for The Outsiders, something they're not expecting. You see, I found myself the perfect partner, someone who knows a thing or two about dominance in this business. And let me tell you, it's not just any partner – it's someone big, someone powerful. So, Hall and Nash, get ready, because the surprise I have for you is gonna be a game-changer. Tonight, we're coming for those WCW World Tag Team Titles, and you'll find out that the Stinger always has a few tricks up his sleeve!”

MATCH #5

Finish: Outsider's Edge!

INTERVIEW

RIC FLAIR '88: “Woo! Last week, I took on one of the all-time greats, Roddy Piper, and emerged as the #1 contender for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. Tonight, it's a different story. Tonight, I'm going up against Scott Hall.

You see, I've been in this business for decades, and I've faced them all – from legends to newcomers, and tonight is no different. Scott Hall, you may have some gold around your waist, but that doesn't mean a thing when you're standing across the ring from the Nature Boy.

I've held that World Heavyweight Championship more times than I can count, and tonight, I'm adding one more to the record. Scott Hall, you may be a big name, but you're not Ric Flair. You're not the stylin', profilin', limousine-ridin', jet-flyin', kiss-stealin', wheelin' and dealin' son of a gun!

Tonight, the Nature Boy is bringing the fight to you, and you'll find out why they call me the dirtiest player in the game. Woo! The WCW World Heavyweight Championship is coming home to the Nature Boy, and there ain't a thing you can do about it. WOO!”
