A video package is shown highlighting WCW wrestler and current AWA World Heavyweight Champion, “The Living Legend” Larry Zbyszko. Sting '91 gives Zbyszko all of the credit in the world and calls him one of the best, if not THE best AWA World Heavyweight Champion that there's ever been. Sting has been licking his chops and waiting for an opportunity at a world heavyweight championship and Zbyszko is in his crosshairs. Sting challenges Zbyszko but gets attacked from behind by “The Enforcer” Arn Anderson. Zbyszko introduces Sting to his opponent tonight, “Double A” Arn Anderson. If Sting can beat Arn then he'll get his opportunity at his AWA World Heavyweight Championship at WCW Wrestlewar.

Footage is shown of Michael “P.S.” Hayes picking up a big victory (some may say upset victory) against Lex Luger. “The Total Package” is here in Albuquerque and he's fired up for his rematch. He tells Hayes that he's not going to know what him after Luger is done with him.

Tonight, Jimmy Garvin is stepping into his world as Cactus Jack looks to right a wrong from last week where Garvin got a fluke victory over him. Tonight in Albuquerque, Cactus Jack is going to make Garvin suffer for all of the grief, embarrassment and humiliation that Cactus has suffered.

Footage is shown of The Hollywood Blonds defeating Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat and “The Natural” Dustin Rhodes last week. Tonight, “The Dragon” is looking to even the score against Flyin' Brian Pillman.
