Flair says that the only thing that matters when you're “the man” is the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. The promo battle ensues before Sting clocks Flair with a microphone. A brawl breaks out between the two as it looks like this rivalry has just reached full swing.

Bret “The Hitman” Hart has defeated Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat two weeks in a row on Nitro despite Steamboat going wild on Bret at the start of the bell last week, attempting to get an advantage by laying an aggressive offense against “The Hitman”. The headstrong “Dragon” has challenged Hart to a rematch tonight.
