world championship. As a result, RAW creating a new championship to
serve as its top championship. In honor of the WWE Universe, the new
championship will be named the WWE Universal Championship and its
champion will be decided at WWE SummerSlam in four weeks time.
Tonight
and also next week on RAW, there will be two Fatal 4-Way Match each

standing will compete in a match at WWE SummerSlam for the WWE
Universal Championship!
Footage

Boss” Sasha Banks take on the WWE Women's Champion Charlotte and
her surprise tag team partner, Bayley. Sasha would go on to lay out
Bayley with a Bank Statement before Nia dispatched “The Hugger”

dominant run in NXT, Nia has been named the #1 contender for the WWE
Women's Championship and will challenge Charlotte...TONIGHT!

Titus
O'Neil says that he's been competing for a long time to become a
break out star and many have written off. He's waited for an
opportunity like this for a long time and tonight he will capitalize
and realize the potential that everyone always talks about. Tonight,
Titus looks to become the main event player.
The
Big Show says that he feels like he's taken a back seat to other WWE
Superstars as of late while he works as a WWE brand ambassador. He's
been waiting for the right time to show the locker room how
unstoppable he is and it appears as though tonight is the night.
Sami
Zayn says that Kevin Owens, Chris Jericho and himself are The New
Millennia of the WWE and while Chris is off working as hard as he can
to bring the WWE United States Championship back home to Canada, Sami
and Kevin will be giving every fiber of their being to make sure that
one of them punches their ticket to SummerSlam and bring home the WWE
Universal Championship to Canada.
“The
Man That Gravity Forgot” Neville talks about how it seems as though
a lot of people doubted that he'd ever get this far but here he
stands, competing for the WWE Universal Championship. The absolute
highest level he has ever reached in this business. Tonight may be
the first step Neville takes towards a life very much changed by
winning the WWE Universal Championship at SummerSlam. All he has to
do is defeat someone like Sami Zayn in his Fatal 4-Match, a feat he
has accomplished once before. One more victory over Sami Zayn tonight

RAW
Commissioner, Stephanie McMahon calls in The New Day and the team of
Enzo Amore and Big Cass into her office and asks them which team
between the two they think is superior. They argue over each other
until Stephanie reveals that The New Day is currently ranked #2 and
Enzo and Cass are ranked #3. There's only one way to determine which
team is truly better than the other and that is through in-ring
competition. In addition, Stephanie is interested to see the dynamic
of Enzo and Cass take on the tandem of Xavier Woods and Big E. Two
teams consisting of one smaller-sized loud mouth and one large
counterpart.

Battleground as well as James Ellsworth this past Monday Night on
RAW. Ellsworth has been offered a rematch if he chooses to take the
opportunity. Although many close to him have advised against him, the
allure of Television time and cold hard cash is just to much to pass
up. After all, any man with two hands has a fighting chance.

Clips
are shown of “The Viper” Randy Orton defeating Chris Jericho to
retain the WWE United States Championship in a Ladder Match last
night at WWE Battleground. WWE United States Champion, “The Viper”
Randy Orton comes out to talk about last night as well as the future.
He asks Stephanie McMahon and Mick Foley for an upgrade in
competition after just defeating Chris Jericho twice in a row. Orton
is immediately interrupted by Jericho who comes out and takes offense
to Orton's statements and goes on to explain why he is a greater
Superstar that Randy. The promo gets heated as Orton says that there
won't be any doubt that Jericho and him will meet again in a match.
It appears that Jericho has subtly succeeded in his mind games to get
another match with the WWE United States Champion. Insults are thrown
from Orton's end which prompts Jericho to lay him out with a cheap
shot. The segment ends in a brawl.
No
one has seen all of the hard work and training that Coach Bob
Backlund has been putting Darren Young through but tonight could
possibly be the night where Darren shows the world how hard he has
been training when he goes to battle and holds his own with greats
like “The Game” Triple H, “The Bulgarian Brute” Rusev and
“The Celtic Warrior” Sheamus. Coach Bob hypes up Darren Young who
says that tonight “Mr. No Days Off” is about to break the
internet with the biggest victory of his career.
Triple
H acknowledges that The Authority haven't been as mighty as they used
to be following WrestleMania but they've been simply biding their
time and plotting their resurgence. Now all of the plotting is done
and all of that biding of time is about to pay off. The Authority
will make their presence felt at SummerSlam and “The Game”
guarantees that. It all starts tonight.
“The
Bulgarian Brute” Rusev and “The Celtic Warrior” Sheamus both
let each other know that everything will be just business in their
Fatal 4-Way Match. They will team up if they have to but neither man
will flinch if they have to fight each other.
