My WWE 2K18 Results: TNA Impact Wrestling (Thu.Aug.W3.16)
TNA
Impact Wrestling
on WWE 2K18
Thursday, August, Week
3, 2016
Orlando, FL
Hot
after winning the TNA World Tag Team Championship for a second time,
Grado and Mahabali Shera (who is also ranked as the #1 contender for
the TNA World Heavyweight Championship) have no problem accepting The
Hardy's request for a championship rematch tonight.
Bobby
Lashley talks about how he was eliminated in the first round of the
Bound For Glory Playoff because his match against Kenneth Cameron
ended in a double count out. Lashley congratulates Drew McIntyre on
his Bound For Glory Playoff victory but he can't help but admit that
the victory isn't as great as it should be for Drew because he did
not beat Lashley. No one beat Lashley and nobody will. Lashley
challenges McIntyre to a match tonight and paints it as a way for
Drew to enhance his big victory last week. McIntyre accepts the
challenge and the match kicks off Impact.

Last
week on TNA Impact Wrestling, Bram defeated Ethan Carter III to
become the #1 contender for the TNA World Television Championship and
is set to challenge the TNA World Television Champion Eli Drake next
week on TNA Impact Wrestling: Turning Point.
EC3
has refused to exclude himself from these proceedings. Not only does
he want to get his hands on Eli Drake but he's looking to win TNA
World Television gold. EC3 has challenged Eli Drake to a non-title
match tonight and before Eli refuses, EC3 states that if he can't
beat Eli tonight then he will never challenge Eli again as long as he
remains the champion.

Drake (TNA World Television Champion) vs Ethan Carter III

Kenneth
Cameron is interviewed and says gives credit to Bobby Lashley for
politicking his way into the Bound For Glory main event. He says that
he was in that same match against Lashley and Kenneth doesn't seem to
recall anyone pinning his shoulders to the mat as well. He is already
in contention for the TNA World Television Championship so TNA
management isn't likely to promote him in two championship matches so
he will opt for a different route to the main event of Bound For
Glory.
Next
week on TNA Impact Wrestling, Kenneth Cameron will challenge Eli
Drake for the TNA World Television Championship. If Kenneth Cameron
wins that championship then he will issue a challenge to the TNA
World Heavyweight Champion Trevor Lee in a champion vs champion
match. Kenneth suggests that the winner of that match should headline
Bound For Glory.

Last
week on TNA Impact Wrestling, the TNA World Heavyweight Champion
Trevor Lee used his own title as a foreign object to attack Eddie
Edwards before their non-title match could start, making his wicked
intentions clear heading towards their title match. However, before
that title match takes place, Lee will take on Edwards in a rematch
as “The Technical Savage” looks to demonstrate how Eddie's win
last week was a complete and meaningless fluke.
