As the WWE Championship at WWE No Mercy between WWE Champion AJ Styles and Dean Ambrose rapidly approaches, both Superstars will battle tonight in a Finisher Match as one Superstar will gain a big boost in momentum heading into No Mercy this Sunday. “The Phenomenal One” looks to give Dean Ambrose a preview tonight of just how he will walk out of No Mercy as STILL the WWE Champion and “The Lunatic Fringe” is banking big on No Mercy being his big night of redemption by breaking his unusual big match losing streak.

Middle Card Promo

Baron Corbin comes out to the ring to brag and boast about how he once again beat down and bullied the SmackDown Live Commissioner Shane McMahon last week. As far as Corbin is concerned, that makes him the “real” commissioner of SmackDown Live. He talks about how a match has been made between Shane and himself at No Mercy and Corbin simply advises Shane not to go through with it because Baron will end him. Corbin wants that match to be Falls Count Anywhere.

Last week, The Miz was joined on SmackDown Live by two WWE Legends, Jake “The Snake” Roberts and Sgt. Slaughter. All three would beat down “The Viper” Randy Orton as Miz looked to soften up “The Apex Predator” on the way to their rematch at WWE No Mercy this Sunday. The motive here seems to be somewhat clear. The Miz has recruited legends that are on Orton's “Legend Killer” resume.
