WCW
United States Champion Ricky Steamboat '94 comes to celebrate his
victory over Bret “The Hitman” Hart '98 last night at Halloween
Havoc in a Tables match. He is immediately interrupted by Bret who
comes out and sarcastically revels in Ricky's victory and talks about
how he loves to see the confidence rise within “The Dragon”. Hart
wants to see it rise to greater heights all for the sole reason of
knowing that “The Hitman” will be the one responsible for
Steamboat's impending defeat and subsequent fall from grace. When
they tell the story of Ricky Steamboat, they will always have to
explain that Hart was responsible for the ending.
Steamboat
isn't impressed by Bret's speech which eventually prompts “The
Hitman” to kick Steamboat down low as a brawl ensues that ends with
Bret dropping him with a clothesline before being restrained by the
official.
Due
to constraints, several matches were cut from the schedule last night
at Halloween Havoc. One of those was Kevin Nash's match against “The
Iceman” Dean Malenko. As a last minute make-good, “Big Sexy”
has been inserted into tonight's Goldberg/Malenko bout and it has
officially been deemed a #1 contender's match for the WCW World
Heavyweight Championship and The Four Horsemen as well as the nWo are
all banned from ringside.

Ricky
Steamboat '94 gloated to the crowd how great of a champion he was
despite his short reign. Bret “Hitman” Hart '98 interrupted to
try to put him in his place, that resulted in “The Dragon”
getting on the receiving end of an attack that turned into a fight!
