My WWE 2K18 Results: WCW Monday Nitro (Nov.W1.16)

WCW Monday Nitro
November.Week 1.2016
Salt Lake City, UT
Rating: 2.833

Last week on Nitro, the new WCW United States Champion Ricky Steamboat '94 gloated to the crowd how great of a champion he was despite his short reign. Bret “Hitman” Hart '98 interrupted to try to put him in his place, that resulted in “The Dragon” getting on the receiving end of an attack that turned into a fight.

Since the WCW United States Championship Table Match at WCW Halloween Havoc, “The Hitman” has been critical of WCW management and calls it a cheap tactic for the WCW brass to take his title away from him. Bret has demanded a normal one on one match against Steamboat to demonstrate his point that he is in fact “The Excellence of Execution” and he doesn't need a wooden table to help him win the big match.

Many months ago, Lord Steven Regal was firmly embroiled in the WCW main event picture as the WCW World Heavyweight Champion. Unseating “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair himself. Unfortunately for his lordship, Regal would suffer an injury that would sideline him for months. Since returning from injury, Regal has been fighting his way through the thick brush of WCW competition but has still found himself at the very bottom of the WCW rankings. Tonight, Lord Regal looks to kick-start his journey back to the top of WCW.

The WCW suits gave Jamie Noble the call to sign a special contract to come back and appear on Nitro to see if Pillman has what it takes to call himself the WCW Cruiserweight Champion. Pillman comes out and a promo battle takes place. The segment ends with Pillman kicking Noble low and laying him out.

Last week on Nitro, Goldberg defeated Kevin Nash and Dean Malenko to become the #1 contender for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship currently held by “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair. The Four Horsemen are outraged at this development and have set up a match tonight between Goldberg and “The Man of 1,000 Holds” Dean Malenko who promises “The Nature Boy” that he will wrestle Goldberg into the ground and there won't be much left of him come the WCW World Heavyweight Championship match.
