high on his momentum tonight, “The Natural” has been placed in
tonight's main event against the current #2 contender for the WCW
World Heavyweight Championship, Ricky Morton! Can Dustin keep his
wave of momentum going after his huge win over Sting '88? Or will
Rock 'n' Roll Ricky bring his wave to a screeching halt?

The
WCW World Heavyweight Champion '88 (and '91-'93) Tatsumi Fujinami
comes out and celebrates his successful title defense. While he
defeated DDP '92, Fujinami still wants to test himself against the
man that wasn't pinned or submitted, “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair
'88.
Fujinami
is suddenly interrupted by “Freebird” Michael “P.S.” Hayes
who says that it seems like the only person in WCW who gets a shot at
the champion is “The Nature Boy”. Hayes thinks that there should
be different blood in the WCW World Heavyweight title picture and
“P.S.” Hayes is the man for the job. “The Dragon” has never,
ever turned down a challenge and proposes that if Hayes can beat him
in a one on one match then Fujinami will face him in a WCW World
Heavyweight Championship match.

Ricky
“The Dragon” Steamboat '91 calls out “Stunning” Steve Austin
for a promo battle, refusing to be done with him and his “dragon
slaying”. Austin comes out and book-ends his promo by saying that
Steamboat doesn't belong in Austin's spotlight and that Steamboat
belongs on his knee, shining his boots. Ricky clocks Austin as a
brawl breaks out that Steamboat gets the better of.
