Last week on SmackDown Live: Baron Corbin attacked AJ Styles before their match, determined to hurt his opponent. Despite this incident, Styles would go on to defeat Corbin after delivering the phenomenal forearm.

Tonight on SmackDown Live: “The Lone Wolf” Baron Corbin has met with SmackDown Live Commissioner Shane McMahon and SmackDown Live General Manager Daniel Bryan and demanded a rematch against AJ Styles right here tonight. “The Phenomenal One” was more than happy to oblige and Shane and Daniel made the bout official.

Also last week on SmackDown Live: Dean Ambrose went wild at the start of the bell in his match against John Cena, laying an aggressive offense against Cena to get an advantage.

Tonight on SmackDown Live: “The Lunatic Fringe” Dean Ambrose will go one on one with Apollo Crews who last week teamed up with Kane and WWE Hall of Famers Arnold T2 and Mike Tyson to defeat Dolph Ziggler, The Ascension and WWE Hall of Famer Arnold T1.

Last night on RAW: WWE Hall of Famer Jacqueline made an appearance, picking up a big victory over Nia Jax.

Backstage: SmackDown Live Commissioner Shane McMahon and SmackDown Live General Manager Daniel Bryan met with Jacqueline who was also scheduled to make an appearance tonight on SmackDown Live. However, tonight's card is fully booked and after Jackie's big win over Nia last night, they can't just have her make an in-ring promo appearance. So Shane and Daniel agree that Jacqueline should be added to tonight's big SmackDown Women's Championship Match. A victory over a Superstar like Nia Jax clearly warrants it in their eyes.

Last week on SmackDown Live: After defeating Baron Corbin (with the help of AJ Styles) two weeks ago on SmackDown Live, The Miz cut a very arrogant promo. Some of his boasting did hold merit as he currently finds himself as the #2 contender for the Intercontinental Championship and the current # 3 contender for the WWE Championship. Miz said that the world is his oyster and the entire WWE Universe wants to know his very next move. He told them all to stay tuned because greatness by The Miz is coming soon.

Backstage: SmackDown Live Commissioner Shane McMahon and SmackDown Live General Manager Daniel Bryan approached The Miz with a big match opportunity. If The Miz were to accept this, a victory tonight would only add to Miz's list of accomplishments. Seeing as how SmackDown Live is in Houston tonight, they offer The Miz a match against none other than the former five-time WCW Champion, Booker T!
