Tonight on RAW IS WAR: Stone Cold Steve Austin '97 will take on the WWE Champion '98-'02 “The Heartbreak Kid” Shawn Michaels '97 in a WWE Championship rematch! If HBK can defeat Austin tonight then Austin will be removed from the WWE Championship Fatal 4-Way match at No Way Out!

Stone Cold Steve Austin '97 opens the show and talks about how he's going to get his WWE Championship back tonight in the same exact place where he won it for the very first time and against the very man he defeated on that fateful evening, Shawn Michaels '97. Austin is interrupted by “The Heartbreak Kid” who says that their Boston rematch tonight will have a different ending then their WrestleMania 14 bout, with HBK leaving Boston as STILL the WWE Champion.

Jake says that No Way Out is looking like it's going to be milestone evening for “The Snake”.

Lita fires back by telling them that the spotlight is all theirs if they can just find a way to win their matches more. This prompts the three angry women to make a steel cage match challenge of their own: Trish and Lita against Luna and Jacqueline!

The segment ends with 'Taker promising that Vince won't elude him for long.

Albert comes out and addresses his recent issues with The Hart Foundation by saying that he doesn't care who won what match, all that matters to him is who is ranked above him. Right now the only person worth Albert's concern is Eddie Guerrero. If Albert can beat Eddie then he enters himself into the WWE Championship picture. He challenges Guerrero to a match and “Latino Heat” appears and accepts the challenge and gets ready for a match but Albert adds that he intended the match to take place this Thursday night on SmackDown. The WWE Universe in Albert's hometown of Boston boos this as Albert tells them that they don't deserve to see him compete after the way Boston sports teams have been faring as of late.
