KICKING OFF RAW IS WAR: Mr. McMahon can't get over the fact at Over The Edge, Stone Cold Steve Austin and Dude Love are scheduled to battle it out for an opportunity at the WWE Championship '98-'02. It's no secret that McMahon loathes the idea of “The Rattlesnake” as champion. He also doesn't see Dude Love as WWE Championship material, only seeing him as a tool of no further use to him.

The chairman is in favor of a WWE Champion that won't resist authority and question the boss so that naturally also puts the reigning WWE Champion The Undertaker '02 in Mr. McMahon's crosshairs. In a game of mental chess, Vince is trying to get all three Superstars off of the game board.

ANNOUNCEMENT: Mr. McMahon removes Dude Love from his Falls Count Anywhere Match against Stone Cold at Over The Edge and cites the fact that Mick is already scheduled to defend the World Tag Team Championship at the PPV and McMahon doesn't want to risk an injury to one of his top Superstars.

ADDENDUM: Before leaving, McMahon announces that the World Tag Team Champions '97-'02, The Rock 'N' Sock Connection will defend the tag team titles tonight in addition to the PPV.
