NEXT: “The Boss” Sasha Banks and Maryse meet in their rubber match. This bout stems from Maryse picking up an upset win over Sasha and then running off to brag about the victory while ducking Sasha's challenges for a rematch. Sasha would get her win back but that didn't stop Maryse from getting backup in the form of Emma who actually defeated Sasha (albeit via count out) this past Monday on RAW.

After a sound defeat to Seth Rollins two seasons ago at WrestleMania and another one on part two of WrestleMania (that kicked off last season), “The Cerebral Assassin” and The Authority spent most of their time last season off TV. After year of planning, plotting and training, “The King of Kings” returns to claim his throne.
Braun Strowman and Bray Wyatt each want to take down Brock Lesnar so they can break his unbeatable aura and become the unstoppable forces themselves.
Samoa Joe is obsessed with earning another opportunity at “The Beast”. He isn't intimidated by Brock and he wants to make Brock know firsthand that they're not on the same level but Joe is on a whole different level.
Finn Bálor is setting out to overcome the odds by defeating four titans tonight and then go on to take down the titan at the top, Brock Lesnar. They call him the extraordinary man that can do extraordinary things. He lived up to that name when he defeated Braun Strowman and he plans on living up to that name tonight!

LAST MONTH ON RAW: Darren Young lost the WWE Intercontinental Championship to The Miz in Belfast, Northern Ireland after only two days as champion. On the following RAW, Darren Young demanded that The Miz meet him in the ring. Miz answered the call without hesitation and held his own ground on the mic, starting off the build-up to their title match at Extreme Rules!
On the road to Extreme Rules, The Miz picked up several non-title wins against Darren Young. Despite the sportsman-like display from Darren on the week three edition of RAW, The Miz looked insulted that his opponent wanted to shake hands, and refused in a display of disrespect.
Before their second non-title match this past Monday night on RAW, The Miz looked as if he wanted to establish a competitive, respectful championship rivalry with his Darren, but feinted a handshake and mocked him instead. Darren Young then slapped the Intercontinental Champion in response, making it clear that he won't be budged by cheap tricks and mind games.
NEXT: Darren Young challenges The Miz in an Extreme Rules Match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship! RAW General Manager Kurt Angle has announced that Maryse, The Miztourage and Bob Backlund are barred from ringside.

LAST SEASON: Neville had a breakout season when he defeated Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship not once but twice with several additional high profile victories in between.
THIS SEASON: Neville finds himself in the WWE cruiserweight division as he claims that the WWE brass didn't want him screwing up their plans for their main event scene because he “didn't fit their profile”. Since then, the self-proclaimed “King of the Cruiserweights” has experienced several setbacks and even lost the WWE Cruiserweight Championship he won last season to Cedric Alexander.
NEXT: “The King of the Cruiserweights” Neville goes one on one against Cedric Alexander for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship in a Submission Match that was announced before Cedric's title win in Belfast, Northern Ireland last month.
MATCH #6
WWE CRUISERWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP

They would go back and forth with the Universal Championship until the Extreme Rules '17 PPV of last season where “The Beast” defeated Neville in their title rematch. Afterwards, Brock picked up an additional title defense against Samoa Joe at last season's Great Balls of Fire event.
NEXT: “The Architect” Seth Rollins is looking to win his first Universal Championship as he challenges “The Beast” Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal Championship!
