MIDDLE CARD PROMO

The NXT Champion Johnny Gargano and his TakeOver: Brooklyn III challenger Bobby Roode met in an in-ring face-to-face with Roode proclaiming that he will become the new champion because this is his NXT. According to “The Glorious One”, “Johnny Wrestling” will be known as “Johnny Cinderella” because he will lose the NXT Championship as fast as he won it and without a single successful title defense.

As far as Roode's issue of the pesky Roderick Strong, Roode came up with an idea that seemed to appease everyone. Next week on NXT, just days before TakeOver: Brooklyn III, Strong will battle Gargano in a head-to-head showdown. If Strong can defeat “Johnny Wrestling”, then he will get his match against Roode at a future date.
