IN THE OFFICE OF THE NXT GENERAL MANAGER: Like sharks smelling blood in the water, several NXT Superstars are trying to get rematches against Drew McIntyre after his recent pair of defeats to Cole Quinn, a non-contracted talent currently competing in Japan with ties to BCW who invaded NXT.

Wesley Blake (who is being tugged at by Buddy Murphy for their imminent tag match) tells NXT GM William Regal that their “Chosen One” Drew McIntyre doesn't appear to have what it takes to live up to the nickname and demands a rematch.

Fabian Aichner, another competitor bested by McIntyre several months ago, cuts in and tells Regal that he should get the rematch opportunity because he is ranked right under McIntyre.

Before Regal can make a ruling, Drew McIntyre appears and tells them all that he intends to grant all of their wishes. He names all of them his personal “chosen ones” tells them that a real man would have approached Drew like a man and challenged him face to face like a man. Now, McIntyre will send all of these “little boys” back to the playground.

John Cena's got to hand it to Shinsuke. It takes guts to announce a Money in the Bank cash-in ahead of time. Cena could have just as easily been blindsided by a cash-in and left Miami without the WWE Championship tonight. Cena plans on that still being the result but the only difference is that Nakamura will leave tonight without a briefcase but with all of Cena's respect.

Owens joked about a conspiracy against him last week but Shane's actions tonight has proved that there is in fact a conspiracy against Owens to make sure that he isn't champion.

Shane says that if KO is every bit the champion that he claims to be then Kevin should relish at the opportunity to exhibit firsthand “why he is the best”. Owens gets in Shane's face and says the he IS the best but if he is robbed at SummerSlam then Shane will have to answer to him. Shane-O-Max is not scared KO's threates.

As a matter of fact, EC3 has used his influence in this business to help give some lower ranked wrestlers an opportunity. Tonight, EC3 has it on good authority that there will be an Eight-Man Over-the-top-Rope Battle Royal where the winner will become the top contender right behind EC3.
