They saw Neville as a threat to their blockbuster attraction of Brock Lesnar, they saw Neville as a threat to their plans for the WWE Universal Championship and they had to find a way to get rid of him. Now he's being ousted from SummerSlam!

LAST WEEK ON RAW: Despite Bray Wyatt getting the better of Finn Bálor the previous week, Finn admitted that Wyatt gave him the creeps. Which wasn't to say he's wary of throwing down against “The Reaper of Souls”. Bálor vowed to finish whatever Bray wanted to start, at which point Wyatt appeared in the ring, eventually besting Bálor in a promo battle.

EARLIER TONIGHT: Emma is on an “It's all about me” crusade as she bumped into Mickie James, making fun of her for being pinned by Nia Jax last week in one of the Fatal 4-Way Matches. Emma wouldn't have wasted that opportunity like Mickie did had Emma received the opportunity. Mickie tells her that she'll gladly give Emma the opportunity to step into the ring with Mickie one on one if she's that confident.

After Heyman delivered what might be his final sermon in exaltation of “The Beast Incarnate”, all of the competitors in the Universal Title Fatal 4-Way match made their presences known...
