CM Punk gave it all that he had last week but at the end of the day he's had a long layoff and he was no match for The Best Friends who are a well-oiled machine.

BACKSTAGE: Penta el Zero M confronts his own partner tonight, Brian Cage, and holds a sheet of paper to Cage's face (miming a papercut to Cage's lip). Penta says that Cage is only the #1 contender on dates where Penta ins't on the show. So their team tonight should really be called Team Zero Miedo. Rey Mysterio then steps in to agree with Penta...but only because Rey currently outranks the both of them as the true #1 contender.

AS IT STANDS: Brian Cage is the #1 contender on dates where Mysterio and Penta are not contracted to appear on.
