The Miz's guest was arranged to be Roman Reigns but Miz called an audible and welcomes The Miztourage's Bo Dallas to the show. Bo has captured a WWE singles title and is opening Monday Night RAW. Miz congratulates Bo on beating him and subsequently keeping the IC title. Miz talks about this being a fulfillment of his promise months ago to Bo about joining Miz and having it benefit his career.

Miz continues to take credit for Bo's success when Roman Reigns appears, ignoring the Bo Dallas celebration and announcing that he's looking for a fight with Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship. Miz points out that Bo is the only one in this ring with a title to his name. Insults are traded and The Miz boasts that The Miztourage could have taken The Shield back in the day.

Roman offers to fight right there on the spot but Miz backed down with an array of excuses. RAW General Manager Kurt Angle hit the scene to sanction a match tonight between the new Intercontinental Champion, Bo Dallas and Roman Reigns as well as a tag team match between the rest of The Miztourage and the makeshift squad of R-Truth & Jason Jordan.

INTERVIEW: Seth Rollins, unnerved that Ambrose's unpredictability put him and their title reign in danger. Ambrose cut in and countered by saying that Rollins’ decision-making was a little too by-the-numbers. This provoked “The Kingslayer” into a rash decision of his own: a match against Strowman next week!

MIDDLE CARD PROMO

The WWE RAW Women's Champion Paige congratulates Mickie James on her valiant effort against her two weeks ago at No Mercy. That victory marked Paige's fifth successful title defense, the most of any champion currently in WWE. Paige calls herself the best WWE champion around today and calls herself “The Matriarch” of the WWE women's evolution. She forgives Mickie for trying to stay relevant by repeatedly challenging her for her title before remembering to ask the WWE Universe a question.

Paige wants to know why the WWE Universe root for their favorite Superstar, cheer for them when they win a championship and have a successful defense or two but then start to root for the title challenger once the champ has been champ for a while. Whether they like it or not, Paige will continue to defend the RAW Women's Championship against every woman on the RAW roster.

INTERVIEW: Finn Bálor said his fight against Bray Wyatt at No Mercy was to avenge Wyatt’s disrespect of Superstars like Goldust and to jumpstart his journey back toward his ultimate goal of reclaiming the WWE Universal Championship. However, “The Bizarre One” is no one's charity case, and the Miztourage manager sucker-punched Finn to put an exclamation mark on it.

Enzo Amore has already begun preparations for his reign as WWE Cruiserweight Champion. So much so that he demanded a No-Contact clause for the rest of the Cruiserweights that would strip them of any title opportunities if they laid a hand on him. Without fear of reprisal, Enzo ran down everyone from the WWE Universe to Big Cass.

The Cruiserweight division was not happy as they all came out in silent protest of Amore in the cruiserweight division. Enzo ran down all of them in turn, including Neville who wasted no time reminding Amore that he was only a Cruiserweight because the division had insisted on giving him an opportunity after the RAW locker room drove Enzo away. On behalf of the entire division, “The King of the Cruiserweights” announced his intention to end Enzo.

IN THE BACKSTAGE AREA: Bayley and Sasha Banks hope that a decisive victory tonight against Nia Jax and Maryse will be all they need for a big boost in the rankings for them as they wouldn't mind challenging Paige. Meanwhile, while Nia Jax tells Maryse (and Alexa Bliss) that she doesn't need any of them, Maryse tells Nia that she doesn't like Nia either but they need to work together (and with Alexa who has volunteered to be in their corner) so they can stop Bayley and Sasha from overtaking them both in the rankings.
