LAST NIGHT AT WWE LIVE HOLIDAY TOUR IN MADISON SQUARE GARDEN: The WWE Champion John Cena defeated Roman Reigns to become the NEW WWE Intercontinental Champion! Also, Gallows and Anderson defeated Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose for the RAW Tag Team Titles!

TONIGHT: The WWE Champion John Cena defends the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Roman Reigns and Samoa Joe in Triple Threat action!

LAST NIGHT AT WWE LIVE HOLIDAY TOUR FROM MADISON SQUARE GARDEN: Braun Strowman defeated Kane in a match where the winner would receive an opportunity at the WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar at the Royal Rumble. However, Kane has the match outcome under protest as Strowman's foot was egregiously under the bottom rope which is grounds for a reversal of the referee's decision in Kane's view.

SHOW OPENER PROMO

The Big Show returns and has news for BOTH Braun Strowman and Kane. Now that he's been reentered into the rankings, he is currently ranked #1 contender for the Universal Championship so all three of them can settle it right now or get lost.

ANNOUNCEMENT: RAW GM Kurt Angle remedies this conundrum with a Fatal 4-Way Match at the Royal Rumble. Brock Lesnar will defend the Universal Championship against Big Show, Braun Strowman and Kane!

Bray Wyatt says it's always been about good vs evil, his favorite game. Matt Hardy says the Great War has perpetuated for eons over space and time and it continues on the battlefield known as WWE. Bray says Matt is now woken, the yin to his yang and he's been waiting for him. Matt says his woken wisdom and broken brilliance will inform the masses but Bray calls him a golden calf who's words mean nothing. Matt recalls their paths crossing before where Sister Abigail had an addiction to evil.

Bray asks the people why follow a jester when you can walk in the footsteps of a king. He tells them to choose wisely because only one can survive. Matt says the Woken Warriors are preparing for battle against Wyatt and they will DELETE him!

IN THE BACKSTAGE AREA: Heath Slater says he didn't get any gifts for his kids because of what Kurt Angle said. Rhyno tries to toughen up Slater by having him confront Kane. Heath does so and gets clapped so bad that Rhyno tries to pull “The Big Red Monster” off of him but gets done in as well.

Alexa Bliss wishes everyone a Merry Blissmas. She has a special Christmas gift for everyone, the gift of a goddess. 2017 hasn't exactly been her year but by the end of 2018 she will be RAW Women’s Champion.

Alexa watched the Women's Royal Rumble announcement a hundred times and she still gets chills. She's the gift that keeps on giving because she is entering the Royal Rumble! At this point, she is interrupted by Asuka who also announces her Royal Rumble entry before saying that she will win because “nobody is ready for Asuka!”

INTERVIEW: Samoa Joe talks about beating Roman Reigns twice in a row before calling Roman's win over him last week on RAW a fluke. A one out of ten chance. As far as John Cena interjecting himself into Joe's business and taking the Intercontinental Title, Joe is about to show Cena firsthand how Roman felt when Joe handed him defeat after defeat.

LAST WEEK ON RAW: “The Empress of Tomorrow” Asuka defeated Alicia Fox who was then assaulted in the backstage area by Absolution!

INTERVIEW: Paige “and her fangirls” ruined Alicia Fox's week last week and blames them for her loss to Asuka (despite the attack taking place after the match). Alicia plans to use what she learned last week and win and crash Asuka's momentum. If she loses, she will freak out.

LAST WEEK: Akira Tozawa defeated Cedric Alexander on 205 Live to win the WWE Cruiserweight Championship but Cedric would regain the title last night at WWE Live Holiday Tour from Madison Square Garden in NYC!

INTERVIEW: Cedric Alexander wants to beat Akira Tozawa in the title rematch tonight and go on to represent 205 Live as champion where he'll do great things such as shut Enzo Amore up.

Alexa Bliss suddenly interjects (stopping a possible kiss), wanting to talk to Nia about the women’s Royal Rumble Match.
