LAST WEEK ON RAW IS WAR: In a bout made by Mr. McMahon, Kurt Angle and King Booker defeated The Ultimate Warrior in a match where whoever walked away with the pinfall or submission would receive a championship opportunity against the WWE (Smoking Skull) Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin. Although Booker would be the one to get the victory, Angle is still listed as #1 contender in the rankings.

TONIGHT: Mr. McMahon announces that BOTH Kurt Angle and King Booker will receive a championship opportunity tonight against Austin in a Triple Threat Match and then perhaps McMahon could have a champion that everybody can be proud of!

IN THE OFFICE OF MR.McMAHON: Eddie Guerrero slowly and meekly brings up how Mr. McMahon is also a competitor in the world title division and how Vince is ranked directly above Eddie prompting Eddie to respectfully challenge the boss to a match. As Guerrero expects the hammer to drop, Vince reacts quite joyfully, stating that he really respects Eddie for fearlessly challenging the boss. As a result, Mr. McMahon accepts Eddie's challenge for right here tonight and even makes the match a No DQ Match which the WWE Universe reacts positively to but “Latino Heat” senses something sinister.
