IN THE PARKING LOT AREA: A limousine arrives revealing Mr. McMahon. Arriving behind him is new free agents Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn who seek an audience with RAW Commissioner Stephanie McMahon. The chairman cuts them off before they can even begin to infiltrate RAW and has KO and Sami escorted off of the premises!

IN THE BACKSTAGE AREA: The WWE RAW Women's Champion Paige is trying to convince RAW GM Kurt Angle to reconsider banning Absolution from ringside for her match against Asuka tonight but Angle declines the request.

ANNOUNCEMENTS: Kurt Angle announces that John Cena will be in the Royal Rumble before going over the rules for the women's Royal Rumble Match. He expects RAW to win both Rumbles. As far as tonight goes, since it got great ratings last week, there will be another Triple Threat Match for the Intercontinental Title where former champs (with a rematch clause) John Cena and Roman Reigns will challenge the new champion Samoa Joe!

IN THE BACKSTAGE AREA: Kurt Angle meets with Jason Jordan as they talk about Jason's big tag victory alongside Jeff Hardy last week. Although The Hardys have been competing in singles competition, Jason insists on teaming with Jeff again to challenge for the RAW Tag Team Championship. However, before any tag title match is made, Kurt makes a match between Jason and one-half of the RAW Tag Team Champions, Dean Ambrose.

INTERVIEW: WWE Intercontinental Champion Samoa Joe says that he will beat John Cena and he will beat Roman Reigns, just like he's done every time. Joe owns Roman and he will show Cena that he owns him too. He's broken down Roman Reigns and made sure that The Shield will not be champions together again and soon Cena will be MIA thanks to him. After Joe wins again tonight, John and Roman will be out of options. It may be Roman’s yard and Cena's face might run the place, but they live in Joe’s world.

LAST WEEK ON RAW: Rhyno tried to toughen up Heath Slater by confronting Kane.

TONIGHT: Rhyno looks to set an example for Heath by confronting “The World's Largest Athlete” The Big Show and “The Monster Among Men” Braun Strowman who will both be a part of the Fatal 4-Way Match at the Royal Rumble for the WWE Universal Championship!

IN THE OFFICE OF THE RAW GM: It is announced that Finn Bálor will be in the Royal Rumble as he looks forward to challenging for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania. As far as Finn's Six-Man Tag Team Match against Elias and The Revival tonight...Gallows and Anderson enter the frame.

If Braun and Kane team up for the Fatal 4-Way Match, Brock will not be reactive, but proactive. If that's the case, 2018 will be the year of “The Beast”!

PROMO: Absolution issue a warning. There might be 30 women in the Royal Rumble Match, but only three matter.

Enzo Amore is with Drew Gulak and Ariya Daivari. He introduces himself as a bonafide G and a certified stud. Drew Gulak says they'll mop the floor up with Akira Tozawa and Cedric Alexander in a Handicap Match. The gracious Zo Train give Tozawa and Alexander a fair chance and offer to face them in a Six-Man Tag Match against them and anyone who walks down the ramp. Goldust answers the call and asks Tozawa and Cedric if they want to be friends.
