TWO WEEKS AGO ON SMACKDOWN LIVE: SmackDown Live Commissioner Shane McMahon was ambushed by two masked assailants!

Shane McMahon calls Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn cowards for donning masks and attacking him two weeks ago and can't abide Kevin and Sami getting the last laugh so Shane invites them to show themselves at a time and place of his choosing.

Randy Orton didn't mind having AJ Styles added to his WWE Championship Match against John Cena this Sunday at the Royal Rumble because Randy, and likely John Cena as well, don't see AJ as much of a threat. Orton predicts that AJ will probably be the one to take the fall. A fired-up “Phenomenal One” retorts by saying that he doesn't see someone that lost their WWE Championship right back to John Cena after two weeks to be much of a threat.

This agitates “The Viper” who goads Styles into putting his money where his mouth is by having AJ face both Orton and Cena tonight in separate matches. SmackDown Live GM Daniel Bryan advises AJ against it but “The Phenomenal One” is game.
