LAST WEEK ON NXT: As Mr. Regal's NXT guest, Johnny Gargano called out Tommaso Ciampa and as expected, it didn't take long for things to get physical in a brawl that “Johnny Wrestling” would get the better of!

An irate Tommaso Ciampa refuses to wait until TakeOver: New Orleans to get his hands on Johnny Gargano. He demands that Johnny meet him in this ring tonight or else there will be dire consequences. It's Ciampa's time tonight to get even with Gargano. TakeOver: New Orleans will now be the cherry on top.

LAST WEEK ON NXT: Ember Moon called the NXT Women's Champion out to the ring, eager to show her up on the mic. Shayna Baszler answered the challenge and had her own words to share, but turned the verbal exchange into a physical one after starting a brawl! The NXT Women's Champion looking infuriated that the challenger would have the nerve to call her out.

INTERVIEW: NXT GM William Regal isn't sure he can contain the intensity between Ciampa and Gargano. If fisticuffs aren't preventable ahead of TakeOver: New Orleans then he'd rather have any physicality take place in the ring instead of the backstage area. If that happens to be the case then Regal regrets that the confrontation would have to be untelevised due to their impending bout this weekend. Regal fears what Ciampa is capable of since Johnny hasn't even been seen anywhere in the arena today.

NEXT: Not since Godzilla battled King Kong have two monsters like Killian Dain and Lars Sullivan locked horns. Both super-heavyweights will throw caution to the wind just days before they compete in the NXT North American Championship Six-Man Ladder Match at TakeOver: New Orleans!

The intensity of the rivalry gets turned up after Ember Moon gets her revenge against Shayna Baszler from being on the receiving end last week. The back-and-forth between these enemies is only a preview of what can be expected when the NXT Women's Championship is on the line.

INTERVIEW: The Undisputed Era immediately accept SAnitY's challenge as they ridicule them and their goal of adding the NXT North American Championship to their faction when what will really happen is all of the gold going to The Undisputed Era in NOLA!
