THIS PAST SUNDAY AT WRESTLEMANIA: Sonya Deville was victorious in the Fatal 4-Way Match against Becky Lynch, Natalya and Asuka, winning the SmackDown Women's Championship! Also, “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles defeated Shinsuke Nakamura to retain the WWE Championship. AJ would be unexpectedly attacked by Jeff Hardy afterwards but “The Phenomenal One” would drive away the attempted attack!

KICKING OFF SMACKDOWN LIVE: SmackDown Live Commissioner Shane McMahon thanked Daniel Bryan before introducing the new General Manager of SmackDown Live, Paige, who will remain as an active competitor in the women's division with Shane overseeing things in the interest of fairness.

ANNOUNCEMENT: Paige announced that AJ Styles would square off against Daniel Bryan in SmackDown Live's main event! Furthermore, to kick off the era of GM Paige right, SmackDown Live will kick off with a blockbuster bout between Shinsuke Nakamura and The Undertaker!

Sonya Deville won the first-ever Women's Royal Rumble Match and went on to beat Becky Lynch at WrestleMania for the SmackDown Women's Championship! As a result, tonight is a Sonya Celebration! Mandy Rose and her plan to keep the party going and wish that Paige could join them but she's been very distant since RAW on Monday. Sonya doesn't want to believe that it's because a conflict of interest because Paige is literally still an active competitor. Absolution can run SmackDown Live but Sonya and Mandy will do it themselves if they have to.

Becky Lynch crashed the Sonya Celebration to point out that Sonya didn't actually pin or submit Becky and “The Irish Lasskicker” plans on getting her title back in a few weeks at Backlash!
