Johnny Gargano has been st staying busy since his NXT ousting, competing all over the world. However, he reveals that last week he was viciously assaulted in the parking lot of a high school that was hosting a local BCW event. Gargano insists that he's had nothing to do with the string of attacks in NXT done in tribute to him. In fact, he condemns them and doesn't want a potential NXT return to be reached in such a way.

Lio Rush interrupts to reveal that he and a few others were responsible for Gargano's beat down and calls it a preemptive strike. The grapevine was burgeoning with rumors of a BCW-assisted Johnny Gargano invasion of NXT so some of the guys in the back had to step up to protect the brand no matter what Mr. Regal said!
