LAST WEEK ON NITRO: The WCW World Heavyweight Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin accepted Scott Hall's challenge, trash talking Hall's lack of world titles and Hall being the last person on Nitro that Austin hasn't beaten yet. Hall then dropped Austin with a cheap shot, prompting a brawl that “The Bad Guy” got the better of!
SHOW OPENER PROMO
Despite Stone Cold Steve Austin claiming to take on anyone at anytime, WCW management continue to deny Ric Flair '91 any more opportunities at the WCW World Heavyweight Championship '88. So naturally, WCW management must have forgotten that Flair '91 is still in possession of the WCW World Heavyweight Championship '91-'93 that he has yet been beaten for.
Scott Hall interrupts and congratulates Flair on all of his recent accolades: his WCW World Heavyweight Championship '91-'93 that only certain contenders can challenge for, the WCW Hardcore Championship without WCW talent in its division, and most of all: the WCW United States Championship.
Last week, the nWo sent Stone Cold a message at the expense of Ric Flair '88 and tonight the nWo is about to send Austin another message when “The Bad Guy” carves up Flair '91 and takes the WCW United States Championship home to the nWo before “The Bad Guy” adds to his collection thanks to Stone Cold! The segment ends with Hall inciting a brawl with Flair by nailing him with a cheap shot in a brawl that Flair gets the better of!

MATCH #2
Normal Match
Rey Mysterio vs Ariya Daivari
WINNER: Rey Mysterio
Method: Pinfall
Finish: 619
Post-Match: Daivari begrudgingly shakes Rey's hand.
IN THE BACKSTAGE AREA: Sting '99 is summoned by Mr. McMahon who points out Sting '99's position at the bottom of the rankings for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship '88 despite his tag team partner being the one pinned in their WCW World Tag Team Championship match several weeks ago.
Mr. McMahon didn't come here tonight to humiliate Sting, he's come with an opportunity. Maybe Sting '99 is destined to bring back the WCW World Tag Team Championship back to WCW with the right partner. Sting is reluctant until the chairman of WCW informs him of a certain individual interested in assisting “The Stinger”. The Catch? This potential tag partner is not under WCW contract.
SHOW CLOSER PROMO
Against his better judgment, Sting '99 calls out Hollywood Hulk Hogan, his biggest rival, and offers a partnership to help WCW regain the WCW World Tag Team Championship. Former nWo leader, Hollywood Hulk Hogan and accepts the offer!
