SHOW OPENER PROMO
BRET HART: “Well, if it isn't the WCW. Now, I've been watching what's been going on here, and frankly, I've had enough. Goldberg, Hogan, you think you can just push Sting around and keep him from that WCW World Tag Team Championship? That's not how things work in my book.”
“Sting, my friend, I've been in your shoes. I know what it feels like to be held back, to have opportunities slip through your fingers. But I've also been the guy who takes matters into his own hands. Tonight, I'm not here to talk. I'm here to do something about it.”
“Sting, I've got a proposal for you. Let's put our differences aside, let's forget about WWE vs WCW for a moment, and let's focus on the nWo. I know you're demoralized, I know it hasn't been going your way, but together, we can change that. Tonight, let's team up, Sharpshooter and Scorpion Death Lock, and take it to The Outsiders, and bring that WCW World Tag Team Championship back where it belongs – in the hands of a true WCW legend!”
STING '99: " Bret, you've been around the block, and I respect that. I've faced Hall and Nash, and I've come up short. But you know what? WCW is in my blood, and I can't let it go down like this. I'm hurting, I won't lie, but if teaming up with you is what it takes to stick it to the nWo, then let's do it. Tonight, it's not about egos, it's not about WWE vs WCW. It's about WCW, and it's about taking back what's rightfully WCW. Bret, let's make it happen, Scorpion Death Lock to Sharpshooter!"
TONIGHT ON NITRO: Bret “The Hitman” Hart of the WWE teams up Sting '99 to challenge The Outsiders for the WCW World Tag Team Championship! Will “The Excellence of Execution” succeed where Hollywood Hulk Hogan and Goldberg fell short?
20 YEARS AGO ON NITRO: With the WCW World Television Championship on the line, Lizmark Jr. defeated Stevie Ray (replacing the WCW World Television Champion Booker T) by count out.
NEXT: Booker T challenges Eddie Guerrero for the WCW Hardcore Championship!

BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW
MIKE KANELLIS: “My run as WCW Cruiserweight Champion has been nothing short of spectacular, hasn't it? I mean, just look at this legendary championship. It's around my waist where it belongs. And let's be honest, who can blame it for wanting to be around me? I am the embodiment of greatness.”
“Rey Mysterio, El Mago Jr., Thunder Tiger – they all stepped up, and they all fell down. One after the other, like dominoes. I've proven that I am the WCW Cruiserweight Champion this division deserves. But you know what's truly remarkable? The fact that there's no one left. No one can challenge me. I've cleaned out the division.”
MARIA KANELLIS: “That's right. My husband has decimated the competition. It seems like there's a shortage of worthy opponents in the WCW Cruiserweight division. Maybe the Power of Love is just too much for them.”
MIKE: “So, to anyone backstage thinking they can step up and dethrone me, good luck. But let's be real – you're not on my level. This championship isn't going anywhere. Mike Kanellis is the WCW Cruiserweight Champion, and there's nobody who can change that!'

MIDDLE CARD PROMO
Bret Hart enters the WCW ring to a mix of cheers and boos from the crowd. He grabs a microphone and addresses the audience, acknowledging that he's from the "other side," the WWE. Bret talks about his storied career and his desire for conquest, singling out the reigning WCW United States Champion, Goldberg.
BRET: "You know, I've faced the best in this business, but I've been watching WCW, and there's one man here that's caught my attention – Goldberg. I've seen the destruction. And next week on Nitro, I want to see him try to bring that destruction my way. I want a match for that WCW United States Championship!"
Goldberg's music hits, and the arena erupts with cheers as the WCW United States Champion walks to the ring. He stares down Bret, and acknowledges the challenge.
GOLDBERG: "Bret Hart, I respect your legacy, but this is WCW. This is my turf. If you think you can step into my world and take this title, you're welcome to try. But remember, I'm not just anyone – I'm Goldberg, and I don't back down from a challenge. Next week, you'll find out what it's like to face the power of Goldberg in the center of this ring."
Tired of the disrespect, Goldberg clocks Bret with a vicious headbutt that sparks a brawl that Goldberg gets the better of.

BACKSTAGE INTERVIEWS
“ROWDY” RODDY PIPER: “Well, well, here we are again, back in WCW. One thing I've learned is that when opportunity knocks, you answer that door. Tonight, I'm stepping into the ring with the Nature Boy, Ric Flair, and we're not playing patty-cake. We're not here for a friendly chat; we're here to determine who's the rightful #1 contender for that WCW World Heavyweight title.”
“Scott Hall, you've already been sitting on that throne for too long, thinking you're untouchable. Beating Austin. Pinning Hogan. But tonight, whether you like it or not, one of us is coming for that championship. And let me tell you, it doesn't matter if it's me or the Nature Boy – when we're done with each other, we're coming for ya, Scott. It's time to shake things up, and Hot Rod is here to do just that!”
RIC FLAIR '88: “Woo! Tonight, in this very building, you've got two of the absolute best going at it for the right to face Scott Hall. Now, I've been World Champion more times than I can count, and Scott, I know you've got that gold around your waist, but let me tell you something, brother.”
“This isn't about you, Scott. This is about the Nature Boy and "Rowdy" Roddy Piper – two Legends clashing to see who's the cream of the crop. And when that bell rings, you're looking at the man who's going to go on and take that title from you, Scott Hall. Woooo!”

INTERVIEW
SCOTT HALL: “Hey yo, listen up. The Outsiders, Scott Hall and Big Kev, we've been running things around here for a while now. We've faced all comers, and guess what? Nobody's been able to take these titles off our shoulders. Now, tonight, it's Sting and Bret Hart. Been there, done that.”
“Sting, you teamed up with Goldberg, and that didn't work out too well, did it? Hulk joined the party, and we still walked out with the gold. Now, you're teaming up with the Hitman, Bret Hart? It's like WCW's throwing whatever they can at us, hoping something sticks.”
KEVIN NASH: “Yeah, Sting, Bret, you guys are great in your own right. But you see, we've already been down this road. We've faced the best WCW has to offer, and every time, we've come out on top. It's like a broken record, man. The Outsiders, we're just too sweet.”
“So, tonight, when that bell rings, don't expect anything different. It doesn't matter who you team up with, Sting – you're stepping into the ring with the baddest, most dominant tag team. And when it's all said and done, we'll still be the champs, and you'll be left wondering what went wrong.”
