SmackDown LIVE Commissioner Shane McMahon and General Manager Paige kick off SmackDown LIVE in Manchester, England. Shane-O-Mac addressed his controversial WWE World Cup victory (after a quick photo-op with the trophy), saying that he didn't actually think he was the best in the world and that the World Cup trophy belongs to everyone on SmackDown LIVE.

Shane introduces the team captain of the Men's SmackDown LIVE Survivor Series team: AJ Styles who feels that Shane McMahon should be the first to join the team. Shane-O-Mac accepts the offer before he's interrupted by The Miz who argues that he should be the captain of Team SmackDown LIVE.

TONIGHT ON SMACKDOWN LIVE: Former WWE Champion, “The Samoan Submission Machine” Samoa Joe, “The Charismatic Enigma” Jeff Hardy and The Miz will meet in a Triple Threat Match to determine who will join the Men's Team SmackDown LIVE at Survivor Series as a co-captain alongside “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles!
