SmackDown LIVE General Manager Paige welcomes Charlotte Flair, Lana and Asuka to the official contract signing for the historic first-ever Women's TLC Match, a Triple Threat bout for The Queen's SmackDown Women's Championship.

Lana insinuates that Charlotte was gifted yet another opportunity that she didn't earn, The Queen explores the idea of what she'd do to Lana with tables, ladders and chairs at her disposal and Asuka promises Lana and Flair that neither are ready for her. After all three sign the contract, Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville hit the scene and suggest that they might not even allow Lana or Asuka to get to WWE TLC, so Paige establishes an impromptu tag team match!

TWO NIGHTS AGO AT STARRCADE: After defeating The Big Show in a Handicap Match to earn an opportunity at the SmackDown Tag Team Championship, The Usos challenged The Bar for the title. However, Sheamus and Cesaro would leave Starrcade as still the champions. They would also expel Big Show from their group.

LAST WEEK ON SMACKDOWN LIVE: The Bar defeated The New Day in non-title action. After the match, The Bar would make a statement by beating down The New Day and forcefully removing them from the ring.

ANNOUNCEMENT: SmackDown LIVE GM Paige announces a grudge match between The Bar and The New Day at WWE TLC. After The Usos' defeat at Starrcade, The New Day are now listed as the #1 contenders and their match against The Bar at TLC WILL be for the SmackDown Tag Team Championship!

INTERVIEW: At first The Bar were outraged over the aforementioned announcement since they already dispatched The New Day last week. Then Sheamus and Cesaro remembered that their successful title defenses to date are against The Usos and The Club. As a result, The Bar have had a change of heart and are now looking forward to adding The New Day to their hit list whether they deserve a title opportunity or not!

MIDDLE CARD PROMO

The Miz welcomes the WWE Champion Daniel Bryan to MizTV. Rather than inciting conflict with Miz, Bryan relentlessly mocks the WWE Universe as “sheep” and chastised them for their “many sins” to the environment. He relishes the death of the “YES!” Movement and the “old Daniel Bryan,” claiming that the “new Daniel Bryan” does whatever it took to win the WWE Title.

AJ Styles soon interrupts, looking for a fight, but Bryan shoves Miz into AJ and escapes the ring. As Styles chases Bryan down at ringside and forces him back into the ring, Miz seizes the opportunity to land a devastating Skull-Crushing Finale on Styles, who was still trying to get his hands on Bryan.
