TONIGHT ON SMACKDOWN LIVE: Lana goes one-on-one against “The Empress of Tomorrow” Asuka in a match that serves as a preview of WWE TLC this Sunday, where both women will challenge Charlotte Flair for the SmackDown Women's Championship in a Triple Threat TLC Match! Is Lana in over her head or will she make a major statement with a victory over “The Empress” tonight?

As Daniel Bryan makes it clear that he's no longer interested in hero worship, he is cutoff by onetime admirer Mustafa Ali of 205 Live who engages in a promo battle with Bryan that ends up with Ali challenging Bryan to a match for right then and there.

Of course, Bryan prefers not to have the match at all, as he believes the WWE Universe is too fickle to deserve it. Bryan also adds that Ali is just a “small little man” whose decision to drive an SUV puts him on the level of the “sheep” in attendance. Ali responds to Bryan by getting in his face, which prompts the WWE Champion to give Ali just what he asked for.

On the other side of the coin, The Bar are looking to beat The New Day in order to clear their division and thus make history as the greatest tag team in SmackDown history. It'll be extra sweeter when they beat The New Day to do it!

At that point, “The Celtic Warrior” levels Xavier Woods with a vicious low blow kick which sets off a brawl that Sheamus gets the better of!
