TONIGHT ON RAW: After successfully defending the Intercontinental Championship against Finn Bálor last week, Kevin Owens returns to once again defend the Intercontinental Title. This time against a mystery opponent!

John Cena returns to RAW and declares for the Men's Royal Rumble Match. Dolph Ziggler interrupts, reminding Cena that there's been some changes to the pecking order since he was last here. And with Ziggler sitting near the top after just having beaten Drew McIntyre in a Steel Cage Match last week, “The Show Off” is now set to make his name at the expense of Cena.

In order to get a one-up on the leader of the Cenation, Ziggler drops Cena with a low blow kick which sets off a brawl that the collegiate wrestler, Ziggler, surprisingly gets the better of!

Baron Corbin talks about beating Braun Strowman in a TLC Match at the TLC PPV last month in a match where Braun would've received an opportunity for the Universal Championship at the Royal Rumble had he won and Corbin would've became the permanent General Manager of RAW had he won, which he did.

Then The McMahon Family pulled the rug out from under him by naming the WWE Universe as the new Authority and leaving Corbin out to dry. As a result, Corbin feels that he should receive the opportunity to challenge Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship at the Royal Rumble.

Braun Strowman then comes out and informs Corbin that he has just learned that next week there will be a Fatal 4-Way Match to determine who will challenge Roman for the Universal Championship at the Royal Rumble and Corbin will compete in that match against Braun Strowman and two other Superstars TBA!

Corbin responds by knocking Strowman in the face with the microphone, sparking a brawl that Baron gets the better of!
