Hulk Hogan calls out the WCW World Heavyweight Champion Sting '91 to let him know that it's nothing personal when he beats him next week on Nitro for WCW World Heavyweight Championship '88. All that matters is they have a battle for the ages and The Hulkster has no problem with giving Sting a championship rematch after he wins.

Sting appears but in the 1999 form, which throws Hulk off of his game. Sting '99 gives Hogan props for not associating with The Outsiders for their match but is willing to take the blame once Sting defeats him and Hogan starts believing that he needs his nWo buddies again. He continues by telling Hogan that the WCW fans will never see him as the defender of WCW.
