Randy Orton wants to congratulate Jeff Hardy on his successful 2019 thus far with capturing the WWE Championship at Elimination Chamber and regaining the SmackDown Tag Team Championship. However, the WWE Universe aren't sure of what to make of Randy's comments and its sincerity. The Viper picks up on this and acknowledges it. He tells Jeff and Matt that if they need any backup for anything then they call turn to him.

IN THE BACKSTAGE AREA: Watching Randy Orton's promo was Rusev and Shinsuke Nakamura, who are scheduled to have a tag team match against The Hardy Boyz tonight. However, also seeing this Randy in disgust was The Bar, who suggest that tonight's bout should now be an Eight-Man Tag Team Match with the four of them against The Hardy Boyz, Randy Orton and The Hardys' pal John Cena from last week (who pinned Cesaro in last week's SmackDown LIVE main event).

NEXT: SmackDown LIVE's first acquisitions in the Superstar Shake-up are the WWE Intercontinental Championship (although the champ Bobby Lashley will remain on RAW) and Finn Bálor! Lashley will only appear on SmackDown LIVE to defend the brand's Intercontinental Championship going forward.

Paige then hit the scene to announce SmackDown LIVE's newest tag team, but before she could, Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville interrupt and suggest that Absolution was reforming. Instead, Paige reveals that her new team will consist of Asuka and Kairi Sane! The two waste no time in rushing to the ring alongside Ember and Bayley, clearing the ring of Mandy, Sonya and The IIconics! (Bayley gets the better of Peyton in the fracas)
