TONIGHT ON SMACKDOWN!: With SummerSlam '88 only a few days away, “The Olympic Hero” Kurt Angle '01 kicks off SmackDown!!

As he looks to get into his opponent's head before their match at SummerSlam '88, Kurt Angle '01 calls out Eddie Guerrero's best friend, Rey Mysterio and challenges him to put the ECW World Heavyweight Championship '94-'01 against him. He tells the story about coming close to competing for ECW in the 90s and says that tonight he will tie up a loose end while sending a message to Latino Heat. Rey accepts and looks forward to reminding Kurt about what it means to compete under extreme rules.

Triple H '01's has an update warning for Steamboat and that warning is that The Dragon has sealed his own fate with his actions last week and he will finish what's left of Steamboat after X-Pac's done with him this Sunday at SummerSlam '88. The Dragon will now be made an example of!
