LAST NIGHT ON RAW: Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre assault John Cena when all of a sudden, The Undertaker made a shocking return to help Cena fight them off!

IN THE BACKSTAGE AREA: Shane McMahon says that John Cena was so afraid of him that he called on The Dead Man. Shane-o-Mac doesn’t fear The Undertaker. He’s looked death in the eye and survived. McMahon warns the SmackDown Live roster not to get on his bad side tonight.

Kofi Kingston takes responsibility for his loss to Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn in the handicap match last night on RAW as well as his loss to Daniel Bryan inside of the steel cage at Backlash. Not to mention Kofi's disqualification win against Bryan at Money in the Bank after Rowan's involvement.

The history books currently say that Kofi and Bryan are one and one. Kofi knows that Bryan will likely decline Kofi's challenge for the WWE Championship so Kofi stipulates that should he lose to Bryan once again then Kofi can never again challenge for the WWE Title as long as Bryan has the title.

Daniel Bryan says that since RAW's outcome, he was considering giving Kofi one last opportunity at the WWE Championship because he wants historians to look back at this time and see that Bryan was the rightful, true and undisputed champion rather than a one-on-one score. However, Bryan declines to face Kofi tonight, instead opting to defend against Kofi at Extreme Rules.
