After Mr. McMahon's recent invasion masked as an initiative, Sting '99 perceives Mr. McMahon's instituted wildcard rule as a cute, little rebrand of his initial invasion. Piper may be a WCW alum and he may mean well in the grand scheme of things but Piper stands before Sting '99 intent on besting him and therefore WCW as a whole. Sting '99 won't let that happen and he will drive every one of Vince's wildcarders back to the WWE Legends brand.

INTERVIEW: The Outsiders tout Scott Hall's successful WCW Hardcore Title defense against Eddie Guerrero last week as a sign of additional good things to come tonight when the WCW World Tag Team Titles go back to the nWo for the ninth time.

INTERVIEW: While The Rock plans on keeping the WCW World Tag Titles as a brand-touring title, “The Brahma Bull” plans on keeping this title right here on Nitro so he can wear it on his shoulder and remind the world that WCW lives in the WWE's world but they both exist in The Rock's universe.

Furthermore, Hall and Nash may be flanked by Ted DiBiase tonight but The Rock has found back up of his own in the form of Scott Hall's next challenger for the WCW Hardcore Championship!
