LAST WEEK AT NJPW POWER STRUGGLE: Minoru Suzuki defeated Toru Yano to retain the NEVER Openweight Championship! Suzuki now has eight successful defenses which is the second-most defenses in modern NJPW history (Since the inception of my NJPW promotion in Fire Pro Wrestling World). He has the most successful defenses out of any reigning champion and he is the only champion of NJPW to have won the title last year in 2018 (El Phantasmo won the British Cruiserweight Championship in August, 2018).

ADDITIONALLY: Minoru Suzuki is looking to pass Hiroshi Tanahashi's record of eleven successful title defenses as IWGP Heavyweight Champion and then cement his claim as the greatest champion in NJPW.

NEXT: With Minoru Suzuki mocking and trying to make a fool out of Toru Yano in their encounter at Power Struggle, Hirooki Goto steps up to the leader of Suzuki-gun to defend the honor of his CHAOS stablemate and challenge for the NEVER Openweight Championship himself at Wrestle Kingdom 14 in the Spike Dome!
