After
having regained the SmackDown Tag Team Championship last week on
SmackDown Live, The Vaudevillains would go on to win back the
SmackDown Tag Team Championship just days later on WWE Main Event.
Just like last week, The Headbangers have tried to activate the
rematch clause in their contract but The Vaudevillains have
successfully lobbied to postpone the championship rematch for a later
date.
Mosh
and Thrasher have since upped the ante and have proposed a wager to
Aiden English and Simon Gotch. If The Vaudevillains defeat The
Headbangers again tonight, not only will they have successfully
defended the SmackDown Tag Team Champions and turned away their
challengers, but they will have also rid SmackDown Live of The
Headbangers. English and Gotch accept this challenge with sly grins.

SmackDown
Live Commissioner Shane McMahon has chosen the WWE Superstars that
will comprise Team SmackDown at WWE Survivor Series when they take on
Team RAW. Those chosen Superstars are none other than the WWE
Champion Dean Ambrose, “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles, John Cena and
Shane McMahon himself.
Shane
is aware that Ambrose, Styles and Cena are each currently involved in
the WWE Championship picture in one way or another (Ambrose
challenged Cena to a championship match while Styles wants his
rematch clause). In order to keep Team SmackDown from tearing itself
apart at Survivor Series, Shane wants to settle it all tonight in a
Triple Threat Match for the WWE Championship!

Women's Champion Becky Lynch comes out to state that she will be the
captain of the women's Team RAW at Survivor Series. Her team will
comprise of (1) the woman she did battle with at No Mercy a few weeks
back for the SmackDown Women's Championship, Nikki Bella. (2) The
woman who won the right to join the team last week on SmackDown Live,
Naomi. And (3) Natalya. They may not see eye to eye on things but
there is no doubt that Natalya belongs on this team.
The
WWE Intercontinental Champion Apollo Crews is looking forward to
facing either Jack Swagger or Bray Wyatt for the Intercontinental
Championship at Survivor Series. Both Superstars are former world
champions and Apollo doesn't want to be a champion that just lucks
his way to the title and loses a month or two later. Apollo wants to
be an Intercontinental Champion that beats the best!

Note: Several weeks ago on SmackDown Live, Erick Rowan eliminated
Luke Harper in a battle royal and it seemed like things were going to
come to a head with The Wyatt Family. However, it has been revealed
that Bray Wyatt has quelled the unrest within The Wyatt Family and
has restored unity to the group.

comes out and makes a bold challenge that has been approved by
SmackDown Live Commissioner Shane McMahon and SmackDown Live General
Manager Daniel Bryan. Kalisto challenges the WWE Cruiserweight
Champion Drew Gulak to a championship match at Survivor Series. The
added caveat is that if Kalisto wins the WWE Cruiserweight
Championship then SmackDown Live wins the WWE Cruiserweight Division
from RAW in the process.
Last
week on SmackDown Live, “The Viper” Randy Orton defeated one of
The Miz's recent hired guns, former WWE Champion Sgt. Slaughter.
After several weeks of hard fought battles that saw Slaughter walk
away with his arm raised, “The Apex Predator” would make very
quick work of Sgt. Slaughter last week in a No Holds Barred Match,
putting the former WWE Champion back on his Legend Killer List.
Tonight, “The Viper” sets his sights on “The Snake”.
