LAST MONTH ON RMW: Johnny Retro defeated Nikita Koloff to retain the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship in a rematch of their Ballroom encounter!
TWO MONTHS AGO AT THE BALLROOM: In a rematch of their bash at the beach, Hollywood Nova of The Blue World Order once again defeated fellow ECW alumni Tommy Dreamer and could likely receive a #1 contender's match for the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship.
IN THE BACKSTAGE AREA: After being told that he'd be competing tonight in a #1 contender's match for the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship, Hollywood Nova is approached by Jeff Cobb who reveals that Nova will be facing him tonight before reminding him that one of Cobb's latest achievements was beating the legendary “Russian Nightmare” himself, Nikita Koloff in a big tag team match.
Nova replies by stating that his latest achievement will be defeating the man who beat the legendary Nikita Koloff.
