TWO MONTHS AGO: With Jake Roberts incredulously blaming Jerry Lawler for their tag team loss the month prior to Kevin Nash and X-Pac, “The King” looked to shut the mouth of “The Snake”. However, Roberts would come out with the victory over the hometown hero.
LAST MONTH: In a salt-of-the-Earth decision, Jake “The Snake” Roberts challenged Memphis Legend, Jerry “The King” Lawler to a Loser Leaves Town match. Beating Lawler twice in a row wasn't enough for Roberts, he wanted to take the king away from his beloved Memphis and that's exactly what would transpire as Roberts would defeat Lawler, sending “The King” packing!
EARLIER TODAY: Jerry “The King” Lawler was shown trying to enter the baseball stadium but was denied entry as well as an opportunity to say goodbye.
