RAW opens with a video package of Brock Lesnar defeating Dean Ambrose to become an eight-time WWE Champion at WWE Payback in Boston. On the following editions of RAW and SmackDown, “The Lunatic Fringe” would go on to lose two straight matches to “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles. Since then, no one has seen or heard from Ambrose.

Mr. McMahon announces that Stephanie McMahon (along with members of The Authority) and Shane McMahon will both have joint control over the WWE.

Match #1
Normal Match
Dana Brooke vs Alicia Fox
Winner: Alicia Fox (4* Amazing)
Post: Dana offers a handshake that Alicia accepts.

Emma is interviewed and asked about her thoughts on Dana Brooke's WWE debut on Monday Night RAW. Emma says that it doesn't matter because the spotlight should be on Emma and not on Emma. Emma left Dana behind on NXT to come to RAW and make it all about her. The question should have been all about Emma just like everything else in the WWE.

The Phenomenal” AJ Styles comes out and says that he has defeated former WWE Champion and current contender, Dean Ambrose...TWICE in one week. Some people have accused Styles of “picking the bones” of Ambrose after the mauling that Brock Lesnar gave him but this is the WWE and you must be ready to fight at all times. Despite winning himself a WWE Championship opportunity, here he stands having to wait for Brock to maul Dean one more time before AJ gets a shot. Because of this, he has been given a spot on the Extreme Rules card to do what he pleases with and the way he looks at things, everyone on the roster has to earn a shot to face him, especially on a PPV. So he is calling out...”The Heartbreak Kid” Shawn Michaels. Much to the WWE Universe in Richmond's surprise, out comes HBK who repeatedly tries to tell Styles that he is retired despite how great that match would be. Styles takes this in stride and thanks Michaels for a wonderful career that has inspired so many.

Brie Bella is interviewed and talks about how she still has a win over a WWE Women's Champion under her belt but has been informed by The Authority that she won't receive her opportunity until the rivalry between the champ, Sasha Banks and Charlotte comes to a conclusion. So while those two are busy destroying each other, Brie considers herself to be the real person at the top of the division. And because she is the focal point of Total Divas along with her twin sister, she has decided that it's only fair to recognize Brie as the top diva of the division by taking a certain item off of her mantle and back around her waist, the WWE Divas Championship!

Natalya interrupts Brie's interview and says that she's the real star of Total Divas and that means that the Divas Championship belongs to her just like the WWE Women's Championship does. Naomi is heard laughing off-screen and tells Natalya that Brie has a legitmate claim to the title, unlike Nattie. However, Naomi thinks that if the Divas Championship is going to be fought over than the Divas champ should be decided in the ring.

Match #2
Normal Match

Winner by submission: Natalya (Sharpshooter)

Two weeks ago at WWE Payback, “The Boss” Sasha Banks defeated Charlotte to capture her very first WWE Women's Championship in front of her hometown crowd in Boston. Sasha would look to put an exclamation mark on that championship victory by refusing to wait for her contractually obligated rematch with Charlotte and taking out Charlotte's opponent for the night and thus force her way into a non-title match. However, Charlotte would strike back with a victory of her own, albeit non-title. Can Charlotte pick up some more momentum tonight?
