Middle Card Promo
John “Bradshaw” Layfield comes out to the ring much to the chagrin of the ECW faithful in the audience. He states that he is here on ECW to represent the superior WWE. He brings up his assault on the ECW original, The Blue Meanie, at ECW One Night Stand 2005 and exhibits that as an example of his superiority. He calls himself the king of hardcore and there is no ECW originals that can prove him otherwise.

Tazz comes out and tells JBL that it looks like he's about to make a liar out of him tonight and adds that Tazz can whip JBL's ass in this ring as well as being a much better commentator. JBL laughs at this which only fires up “The Human Suplex Machine” further. Before any physicality can take place, Paul Heyman comes out and says that he actually enjoys having JBL appear on ECW because what better way is there to metaphorically kick the WWE's ass week in and week out? Heyman says that tonight's main event will be a delicious one for him as JBL will go one on one with Tazz! The segment ends with JBL laying out Tazz with a cheap shot.

My WWE 2K18 Results: WWE SmackDown Live (Oct.W1.16)

WWE SmackDown Live
October, Week 1, Year 1
Colorado Springs, CO

Last week on SmackDown Live, The Undertaker defeated Bray Wyatt in an Extreme Rules Match where the winner would receive the right to choose the stipulation for their match at WWE No Mercy. Tonight, The Brothers of Destruction and The Wyatt Family will collide and “The Phenom” will name the stipulation for his match against “The Eater of Worlds” Bray Wyatt at No Mercy.

Show Opener Promo
After a promo battle last week on SmackDown Live, Baron Corbin laid out the SmackDown Live Commissioner Shane McMahon with a kick down low. Shane comes out to the ring and calls out “The Lone Wolf”. A promo battle takes place that ends abruptly when Corbin lays out Shane with a cheap shot. Shades of last week on SmackDown Live.

Match #1
Normal Match
Mosh (w/Thrasher) vs Chad Gable (w/Jason Jordan)
Winner by pinfall: Mosh (Stage Dive)(*** Very Good)

Middle Card Promo
One of the newest members of SmackDown Live, Jack Swagger comes out and talks about how he is all about challenges and making opportunities for himself. Swagger is out here to issue a challenge for No Mercy in two weeks. Swagger challenges Arnold T2 to a match at No Mercy!

Match #2
Backstage Brawl
Shane McMahon vs Baron Corbin
Winner: Baron Corbin (Deep Six)

Middle Card Promo
Hot off her victory over Tamina last week on SmackDown Live, Brie Bella comes out to the ring and calls out the current #1 contender for the SmackDown Women's Championship, Becky Lynch. Brie tells Becky that her sister and her always had a saying. Brie doesn't care if Becky is the #1 contender or not, if she wants to get to Nikki, she has to go through Brie first as Brie challenges Becky to a match next week on SmackDown Live.

A cryptic vignette is shown with a muffled and distorted voice that could barely be understood. It repeats “I've always had it under control” over and over again. “I've always had it under control”, “I've always had it under control”,“I've always had it under CONTROOOOOOOOL.”

Match #3
Normal Match
Carmella vs Maryse
Winner by pinfall: Maryse (French Kick)(*** ½ Great)

Last week on SmackDown Live, Dean Ambrose came out to the ring still in disbelief over his pair of seconds-long losses to Baron Corbin at SummerSlam and to Randy Orton at Backlash. Even before SummerSlam, Ambrose (who had and still holds a rematch clause in his contract for a WWE Championship rematch) was cut in line by John Cena and Baron Corbin who received their WWE Championship bout opportunities before him.

Both have challenged the WWE Champion AJ Styles and both have failed. Perhaps the ending of this chapter for Dean Ambrose sees his redemption in succeeding where John Cena and Baron Corbin have failed. After all, that rematch clause is literally all that Ambrose has left. Ambrose would go on to lay down a challenge to AJ Styles to a WWE Championship match at WWE No Mercy.

Middle Card Promo
The WWE Champion AJ Styles comes out to address Ambrose's challenge from last week and calls out “The Lunatic Fringe”. Styles accepts Ambrose's challenge and the WWE Championship match is set for No Mercy.

Match #4
Three on One Brawl
Randy Orton vs The Miz, Jake “The Snake” Roberts & Sgt. Slaughter
Winners: The Miz, Jake “The Snake” Roberts & Sgt. Slaughter

Show Closer Promo
Two weeks on SmackDown Live, Apollo Crews defeated Dolph Ziggler to regain the WWE Intercontinental Championship. Ziggler calls out Apollo to challenge him to a championship rematch No Mercy.

A vignette is shown promoting Sting returning to the WWE.

The Undertaker states that no brand extension will stop him from waging war on his patented battleground. He will have no mercy on Bray Wyatt when he takes his soul inside Hell in a Cell!

Match #5

The Brothers of Destruction (The Undertaker & Kane) vs The Wyatt Family (Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper & Erick Rowan)

My WWE 2K18 Results: WCW Monday Nitro (Oct.W1.16)

WCW Monday Nitro
October, Week 1, Year 1
San Diego, CA

The WCW World Heavyweight Champion Ric Flair '91 is beside himself after last week's rematch between Kurt Angle '06 and Dean Malenko where Angle came out on top and reclaimed his WCW World Heavyweight Championship opportunity. Flair says that ECW does not belong in his show here on Nitro and he will stop at nothing to make sure that Angle gets no such championship opportunity.

The Nature Boy” has gone as far as to give Sting '99, WWE rival The Undertaker '00 and nWo rival Kevin Nash a championship opportunity if they can take out Angle tonight! Will Angle be able to hold on to his #1 contendership? Or will Flair have a new non-ECW opponent at Halloween Havoc?

Angle turns around and realizes that he has lost his #1 contendership to Sting who has just realized himself the consequences that have just transpired. A tense face-off occurs between the two as Sting visibly mouths his apologies to Angle who shakes his hand and raises his arm. He tells Sting that he just has one message for Ric Flair and then he'll give Sting his moment back tonight.

Angle challenges and dares Ric Flair to show up on Monday Night RAW before leaving.
