Last night at WWE Hell on a Cell, “The Monster Among Men” Braun Strowman defeated Chris Jericho inside Hell in a Cell to become the NEW WWE United States Champion.

The former WWE United States Champion Chris Jericho comes out to the ring to kick off RAW and calls out the new WWE United States Champion Braun Strowman for a rematch.

Last night at WWE Hell in a Cell, Kevin Owens picked up an aggressive victory against Sami Zayn, making it two victories in a row over Sami. Owens proclaims that he is now moving on from Sami Zayn and on to bigger and better and things. Case in point, WWE management have made a match for Kevin tonight featuring him taking on a WWE Hall of Famer. Owens already has a WWE United States Championship opportunity in his back pocket but the opportunity to take out a Hall of Famer is just irresistible to him.

Last night at WWE Hell in a Cell, Drew Gulak defeated TJ Perkins to retain the WWE Cruiserweight Championship. Perkins has challenged Gulak to a rematch that Gulak has “graciously” agreed to under some conditions. Gulak states that since he is the winner and the champion that he is fully within his right to compete with advantages. TJP will get his rematch if he agrees to compete without any corner support tonight.

Last night at WWE Hell in a Cell, Bayley defeated Charlotte in a Hell in a Cell match to become the NEW RAW Women's Champion.

The RAW Women's Champion Bayley comes out to celebrate her big championship win. She talks about how a little piece of her was left inside of that demonic structure and talks about having to dig deep and utilize every ounce of training that she put in to get ready for Hell in a Cell. Bayley thanks Charlotte for the great match and promises her a championship rematch. Her next stop now is WWE Survivor Series where she will captain Team RAW to take on Team SmackDown Live captained by the SmackDown Women's Champion Becky Lynch.

In three weeks at WWE Survivor Series, four of the highest-ranked RAW Superstars will take on four of he highest-ranked SmackDown Live Superstars in a traditional Survivor Series Eight-Man Elimination Match. This means that all month long on RAW and SmackDown Live, Superstars will be jockeying for position as they battle it out to either keep their top ranked spot or to defeat a top ranked Superstar and take their spot on the team. Which brand will be the 2016 Survivor Series champions?

At this time, Team RAW consists of Jinder Mahal (the man who defeated The Rock live on Monday Night RAW last month), The Rock, Cesaro and Sheamus. Tonight, Rusev takes on The Rock and if “The Bulgarian Brute” picks up the victory then he will replace The Rock as captain of Team RAW!

Backstage, RAW General Manager Mick Foley is interviewed and reveals that Lana and Jinder Mahal are scheduled to be in Rusev's corner tonight so in the interest of fairness, Mick has found someone suitable to be in The Great One's corner tonight.

Fresh off of his second PPV loss to the WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar, Neville comes out to call out “The Beast Incarnate”. They engage in a promo battle that ends with Neville managing to lay out “The Beast”. However, Lesnar comes back and lays out Neville in return to end the segment.

Promo Battle Result: No Contest

Last month on RAW, Titus O'Neil picked up a major upset victory over the rampaging “Monster Among Men”. Titus would go on to lose the rematch but has since challenged “The Monster” to a rubber match anyway. “The Prime Time Player” will be in Chris Jericho's corner in tonight's main event.

Last night at WWE Hell in a Cell, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson successfully defended the WWE Tag Team Championship in their championship rematch against Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins making Gallows and Anderson 2-0 against Reigns and Rollins in PPV competition. Tonight, The Shield brethren look to make a rebound.

As for the tag team champs, they've declared that they're taking the night off to celebrate another PPV well done, defending the WWE Tag Team Championship and being the highest ranked tag team on the WWE Power Rankings.

Pre-Match: Reigns and Rollins are attacked from behind by the WWE Tag Team Champions Gallows (Played tonight by Jamie Noble) and Anderson who are looking to keep The Shield brethren softened up just 24 hours removed from their hellacious championship match at WWE Hell in a Cell.

“The Celtic Warrior” Sheamus defeated Cesaro last night at WWE Hell in a Cell in Match #3 of their Best of Seven Series where “The Swiss Superman” leads 2-1. Sheamus comes out to the ring and declares that the tides have started to turn in their Best of Seven Series and now “The Celtic Warrior” is going to sweep “The Swiss Superman” for the rest of the series. Cesaro comes out and paints a scenario much more likely to him: Cesaro beating Sheamus two more times in a row and winning his championship opportunity. He wishes Sheamus good luck and hopes that he doesn't lose to Enzo Amore again on WWE Main Event this week. This prompts Sheamus to deck Cesaro leading to a brawl that “The Celtic Warrior” wins.

Promo Battle Result: No Contest

In three weeks at WWE Survivor Series, there will be a traditional Survivor Series 8-Man Tag Team Elimination match where two tag teams from RAW will take on two tag teams from SmackDown Live. Which team will lead brand to victory and earn the right to state that their brand has the best tag team division in the WWE?

Enzo Amore and Big Cass have a victory over then-champions Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins are set to challenge the WWE Tag Team Champions very soon. Tonight, they compete in a tune-up match against a tag team looking to reinvent themselves.
