WWE NXT
November.Week 2.2016
Orlando, FL
Average Match Rating: ****

Last week on NXT, the NXT Champion Shinsuke Nakamura delivered payback against Samoa Joe with an attack of his own, angered by his rival's actions from two weeks ago when Samoa Joe attacked Shinsuke from behind. Tonight, “The King of Strong Style” will be in action in tonight's main event. Will Samoa Joe be poised to strike?

Last week on NXT, Elias was attacked from behind after his match, Patrick Clark had to resort to using a distraction with his entrance music, afraid of facing his rival head-on. Tonight, the big rubber match between Elias and “The Velveteen Dream” Patrick Clark will take place! There will be no long wait for this rubber match! Who will leave NXT tonight as the better NXT Superstar?

Middle Card Promo
Eric Young from SAnitY comes out and says that their takeover of NXT is under way. He predicts that Alexander Wolfe and Sawyer Fulton will win the 2016 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic and Young will take down every last NXT Superstars that gets in his way. The NXT General Manager William Regal has informed Young that at NXT TakeOver next week, Young's opponent will be none other than Hideo Itami.

A win over Itami will certainly be a big one for SAnitY and will make a statement that SAnitY indeed means business. However, a victory for Hideo Itami will launch the Japanese sensation ever closer back to the NXT Championship picture.

After suffering a defeat to SAnitY in the Semifinals of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, Austin Aries calls out Roderick Strong and blames him for the loss and informs him that “The Greatest Man That Ever Lived” will not stand for people who hold him down. From this point forward, Aries has absolutely zero interest in continuing to team with Roderick any further. Strong contends that he was the one holding the team on his back all throughout the tournament and only lost because his back finally gave out from carrying the team. A challenge is made between these two NXT Superstars for a match next week at NXT TakeOver. Aries kicks Strong low as a brawl breaks loose that Aries gets the better of.
