My WWE 2K18 Results: WWE NXT (Nov.W3.16)

WWE NXT
November.Week 3.2016
Orlando, FL

Last week on NXT, the NXT Champion Shinsuke Nakamura was attacked from behind after his match. Samoa Joe had to resort to using a distraction with his entrance music, afraid of facing his rival head-on. Tonight, “The King of Strong Style” will be in action and will no doubt be looking to unleash his anger.

Match #1
Normal Match
Lince Dorado vs Cezar Bononi
Pre-Match: Both shake hands.
Winner by pinfall: Lince Dorado (Shooting Star Press)

Match #2
Normal Match

Earlier today, NXT General Manager William Regal met with Wesley Blake, Buddy Murphy, Rich Swann and Oney Lorcan and expressed his desire to see them get more opportunities to climb the ladder here in NXT. Out of the four NXT Superstars in his office, Blake is ranked the highest while Lorcan is ranked the lowest. Tonight, they will compete in a Fatal 4-Way Match where an NXT Superstar like Oney Lorcan could jump three spots up the NXT rankings. Wesley Blake assures Regal that will not happen as Buddy Murphy begins to argue with him. Lorcan is shown with an intensely determined look on his face as Swann smirks and struts off in confidence.

Match #3
Fatal 4-Way Match
Wesley Blake vs Rich Swann vs Buddy Murphy vs Oney Lorcan
Winner by pinfall: Rich Swann (Fantastic Voyage on Blake)

Last week on NXT, “The Glorious” Bobby Roode challenged the #2 contender for the NXT Championship, No Way Jose to a match at NXT TakeOver.

Middle Card Promo
Tye Dillinger comes out and talks about how Bobby Roode's behavior in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. Roode twisted his arm to form a team and then refused to man-up and face reality when they got eliminated. Roode lies and recounts Dillinger being the one that begged him to team up before telling Tye that “The Perfect 10” is nowhere near Bobby's “Glorious” level. Dillinger then accuses Roode of challenging No Way Jose as a way of avoiding a TakeOver match against “The Perfect 10”. Bobby scoffs before he is notified by Tye that he's already spoken to No Way Jose and NXT General Manager William Regal about making their match at TakeOver a Triple Threat Match. Roode is outraged but recomposes himself by stating that at TakeOver, No Way Jose and Tye Dillinger will find out just why Bobby Roode is “GLORIOUS”.
Promo Battle Winner: Tye Dillinger

Last week on NXT, Elias delivered payback against Patrick Clark with an attack of his own, angered by his rival's actions from two weeks ago where Clark delivered a sneak attack.

Match #4
(Rivalry)
Normal Match
Elias vs Fabian Aichner
Pre-Match: Patrick Clark comes out as a guest on commentary much to the chagrin of Elias who jawjacks with Clark as he makes his way to ringside.
Winner by pinfall: Elias (Drift Away)
Post-Match: Clark attacks Elias from behind as a fight breaks out. The segment ends with Clark crouching over Elias.

This weekend at NXT TakeOver
  • The NXT Champion “The King of Strong Style” Shinsuke Nakamura will defend his championship against “The Samoan Submission Machine” Samoa Joe in an NXT Championship Match. These two intense rivals look to settle their score once and for all!
  • The NXT Women's Champion “The Empress of Tomorrow” Asuka defends the NXT Women's Championship against the returning Mickie James. Can Asuka retain the NXT Women's Championship or can Mickie James return with a bang by immediately capturing NXT gold upon her return?
  • “The Glorious” Bobby Roode takes on “The Perfect 10” Tye Dillinger and No Way Jose in a Triple Threat Match as he looks to show everyone just why he is GLORIOUS.
  • Current SmackDown Live Superstars and NXT Tag Team Champions American Alpha defend the NXT Tag Team Championship against TM-61 as Shane Thorne and Nick Miller look to back up their claim of being the best tag team in NXT. Will they be able to unseat the reigning champs and bring the gold to their home country of Australia? Chad Gable and Jason Jordan only need one more successful title defense to tie #DIY's record of five successful championship defenses. Will American Alpha hold on to the gold?
  • For the past several months, Patrick Clark and Elias have been exchanging vicious attacks on each other in attempts to demonstrate their superiority on the other. This weekend at TakeOver, they will have the opportunity to show to the world just who is truly the better Superstar as “The Velveteen Dream” Patrick Clark goes one on one with Elias.
  • “The Greatest Man That Ever Lived” Austin Aries takes on Roderick Strong. Aries blames Strong for their elimination in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic and attacked Strong with a cheap shot last week on NXT. Can Roderick Strong get payback this weekend at NXT TakeOver?
  • SAnitY's Eric Young (as well as SAnitY as a whole) is looking to make an impact here in NXT and Young wants a match at TakeOver that will give SAnitY the opportunity to send a message to the entire NXT roster. NXT General Manager William Regal gave Young a match against an NXT Superstar looking to put his name back in the championship picture of NXT. A win from Eric Young over this Superstar will certainly accomplish Eric Young's goal. At TakeOver, the leader of SAnitY, Eric Young, takes on Hideo Itami!

- Also this weekend are the finals of the 2016 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic as SAnitY looks to display their dominance with a victory over #DIY who prepare themselves for the fight of their tag team careers. Who will bring home the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic trophy?
