Video Package: Several months ago “The Viper” Randy Orton was in heated rivalry against The Miz. Just as it appeared that Orton would defeat Miz and put the rivalry behind him, “The Hollywood A-Lister” employed the list of two WWE Legends from Randy's infamous Legend Killer list, former WWE Champion Sgt. Slaughter and Jake “The Snake” Roberts. Since then “The Viper” has been taking it to Slaughter and “The Snake”. He was able to put away Slaughter but “The Snake” has been rather elusive.

Tonight on SmackDown Live: “The Viper” Randy Orton looks to settle the score against Jake “The Snake” Roberts '91 in a No Holds Barred Match! Can “The Apex Predator” put “The Snake” back on his Legend Killer list and then finally be able to set his sights on The Miz?

Show Opener Promo

The SmackDown Women's Champion and women's Team SmackDown Captain Becky Lynch congratulates her team (also featuring Natalya, Naomi and Alexa Bliss) on defeating Team RAW this past Sunday at Survivor Series. Because of their victory tonight, Becky will be playing the role of jolly ol' Saint Nick tonight because Team SmackDown have earned some opportunities coming off of their big win.

Before coming out here tonight, Becky met with SmackDown Commissioner Shane McMahon and SmackDown General Manager Daniel Bryan. After that meeting, Becky can reveal that due to her Team SmackDown victory at Survivor Series, as SmackDown Women's Champion she will be defending her title at the Royal Rumble. The SmackDown Women's Championship will have priority on the Royal Rumble show over the RAW Women's Championship.

As far as her possible championship opponents, Lynch reveals that she will be defending her SmackDown Women's Championship this Sunday at WWE TLC against Natalya, Naomi and Alexa Bliss in a Fatal 4-Way Tables Match!

Natalya comes out to take on Becky in a promo battle about how she's going to end Becky's magical time as champion this Sunday.

Nikki accepts the challenge only she wants Carmella in a No Disqualification Match because it wouldn't be legal to do the things she wants to do to Carmella in just a simple one on one match!

This time against Breezango this Sunday at WWE TLC.

Middle Card Promo

SmackDown Tag Team Champion Aiden English brags about defeating The Headbangers at Survivor Series and subsequently getting them fired. He says that The Vaudevillains are out to bring some class to SmackDown Live and ridding it of two derelicts like Mosh and Thrasher is something that the WWE Universe should praise them for. English then goes on about how The Vaudevillains are going to take down two clowns in Breezango this Sunday at WWE TLC.

This Sunday at WWE TLC: There will be a number one contender's match for the WWE Championship as “The Dead Man” The Undertaker will go one on one against “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles!

Interview: “The Lone Wolf” Baron Corbin balks at the idea of AJ Styles facing The Undertaker at TLC. Corbin was victorious on Sunday when he defeated The Undertaker's own brother Kane while “The Dead Man” and “The Phenomenal One” Both lost their big match. If anyone should be facing The Undertaker this Sunday at TLC it should be him!

This Past Sunday at WWE Survivor Series: “The Eater of Worlds” Bray Wyatt defeated the former Intercontinental Champion Apollo Crews and his Wyatt Family brethren and most recent former Intercontinental Champ Luke Harper in Triple Threat action to become the NEW WWE Intercontinental Champion.

Tonight on SmackDown Live: The NEW WWE Intercontinental Champion Bray Wyatt will take on his Wyatt Family brother Luke Harper and Apollo Crews in a Survivor Series Rematch. Whichever Superstar is not defeated tonight will get another opportunity at the Intercontinental Championship this Sunday at WWE TLC in a one on one Ladder Match!

This Past Sunday at WWE Survivor Series: “The Lunatic Fringe” Dean Ambrose disrupted the scheduled format of the Pay-Per-View by taking himself out of the Team RAW versus Team SmackDown Traditional Survivor Series 8-Man Elimination Tag Team Match and successfully activated the rematch clause for a WWE Championship rematch against WWE Champion John Cena later that night at the peril of Team SmackDown. This move forced Cena to also abandon his spot on Team SmackDown, a prospect that he was not happy about. Cena's wariness would be realized as Team SmackDown would go on to lose their match against Team RAW. However, Ambrose would leave Survivor Series as the WWE Champion once more.

In-Ring Segment: Former WWE Champion John Cena is out here to call out Dean Ambrose man-to-man. Ambrose abandoned his team and sacrificed them to Team RAW. It is salt in the wound that now Cena is no longer the WWE Champion. There is not much Cena can do for Team SmackDown but he can make Dean pay for abandoning them and he can damn sure get back that WWE Championship!

The NEW WWE Champion Dean Ambrose comes out and backs up his actions by opining that it was SmackDown Live that failed themselves. If the blue brand was so strong and stacked then it would have had no issues finding two suitable replacements. Perhaps Cena, Shane and Daniel should be taking a look at The Undertaker, Randy Orton or even Shane-O-Mac himself. As far as their WWE Championship rematch at WWE TLC goes, Ambrose says that it is the perfect staging ground for the elusive decisive championship victory over John Cena that he's been after.

Breaking News: SmackDown Live Commissioner Shane McMahon has a big surprise in store for the WWE Universe tonight. Since he is so fired up tonight, John Cena will be in action as he will take part in an open challenge where any SmackDown Live Superstar can accept.
