Last week on RAW: After a great match against Sin Cara in which he was victorious, the WWE Universal Champion Neville attacked Brock Lesnar, leading to a violent brawl between them on stage!

Promo: RAW Commissioner Stephanie McMahon cannot stand to have the WWE Universal Champion Neville and championship challenger Brock Lesnar tearing each other apart week after week. At this rate, one of them (she implies Neville) isn't going to make it to the Royal Rumble.

That is why tonight: The WWE Universal Champion Neville “The Man That Gravity Forgot” will TEAM UP with the challenger for the Universal Championship, the former champion, “The Beast” Brock Lesnar! They will take on a tag team that has recently joined together on RAW and have been taking down everyone in their path from Enzo and Cass to The Bushwhackers. Neville and Brock will take on Jinder Mahal and Rusev!

Last year at WrestleMania 33: Shield members Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns defeated The Authority, comprised of Triple H and the then-Director of Operations Kane. Since then, Triple H and The Authority have been spending the whole year trying to bounce back. Currently, “The Game” isn't even ranked high enough to enter this year's Royal Rumble match.

Coming up next: The COO of WWE, “The Game” Triple H is looking for this night to be the night where he bounces back as he teams up with two Superstars of his choosing to face his WrestleMania 33 opponents, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns, as well as a partner of their choosing.

Backstage: Roman tells Rollins that he's already found a partner for to team with them tonight. He's family and someone who Triple H is VERY familiar with.

Middle Card Promo

Kofi Kingston of The New Day announces that they will be defending the RAW Tag Team Championships on the Royal Rumble Kickoff and their challengers will be determined right here tonight on RAW in Milwaukee. As far as the Royal Rumble match is concerned, Kofi is currently not a part of the top 15 RAW Superstars competing in the Rumble. However, Kofi isn't going to just bow out without a fight. He's requesting that RAW management give him a match next week against any of the top 15 RAW Superstars.

Promo: Since falling out of the RAW Women's Championship scene, Bayley finds herself clawing her way back up the RAW Women's ranks. However, she must also defend her current position in the rankings by Superstars who want to climb their way to the top as well. Can Bayley hold on to her spot or will she stumble further down the ladder tonight?

Backstage: Stephanie McMahon is speaking with Nia Jax. Right now, Stephanie sees Nia as the brightest Superstars in the women's division. She talks about how the RAW women's team failed her at Survivor Series last year and how those team members will be facing repercussions until they redeem themselves. Nia is told that Stephanie does not think that Charlotte is a good fit to be the RAW Women's Champion and she also adds Bayley and Sasha Banks to that list.

Sasha Banks overhears this and wants to know how she can redeem herself. She reminds Stephanie that she was the very last Superstar eliminated in that Survivor Series match and she puts the blame on her teammates. Stephanie is not wholly convinced. This leads Sasha to pitch a tag team match tonight between Nia and herself against Charlotte and Bayley.

Stephanie calls a would-be victory by Sasha tonight hardly a redemption with an irresistible force of a partner like Nia by Sasha's side. The RAW Commissioner says that if Sasha can beat Charlotte and a partner of Charlotte's choosing tonight then Sasha will be redeemed in Stephanie's eyes.

Next week at the WWE Royal Rumble: The WWE Cruiserweight Champion Rich Swann will defend the WWE Cruiserweight Championship against Gentleman Jack Gallagher.

Tonight: Rich Swann and Jack Gallagher have a gentleman's agreement that they will work together tonight to defeat their opponents. Their opponents are former Cruiserweight Champion Drew Gulak and “The Premiere Athlete” Tony Nese!

Last week on RAW: Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows attacked Cesaro and Sheamus before their match, revisiting the past rivalry these two teams went throught! These are the same tactics that aided Gallows and Anderson in defeating The Shield to win the WWE Tag Team Championships.

Tonight: “The Swiss Superman” Cesaro looks to even the score against Karl Anderson in singles competition!

Post-Match: Gallows slides Anderson a chair. Anderson chases off the official and goes to attack Cesaro when Sheamus runs in and sends them packing, saving Cesaro.

This past weekend: Trent Seven defeated Mark Andrews to win the WWE United Kingdom Championship Tournament and become the inaugural WWE United Kingdom Champion!

Middle Card Promo

Chris Jericho is still riding high from his victory from last month where he defeated the former world champion and face of WCW, the returning Goldberg. Jericho even bested him on the mic the following week when Goldberg was looking for a rematch. Jericho accepts the challenge and tells Goldberg to meet him in the middle of the ring in the Royal Rumble...if he's even ranked high enough.

Pre-Match: Lesnar tags himself in much to Neville's annoyance.

Mid-Match: Neville tags himself back in but is laid out by the former UFC Heavyweight Champion who then exits the ring and leaves, abandoning Neville to compete in this match alone.

Post-Match: Brock reappears on the stage and has a stare-down with the Neville the Universal Champion.

CLASH OF EGOS

Brock Lesnar and Neville were scheduled into a tag match that went disastrous for them. Both Superstars were clearly focused on trying to one-up each other before their WWE Universal title match.
